Years ago when Owen played for them, there was a newsagents near me run by a mad Liverpool fan, at the back of the shop there was a portrait of Owen and I kid you not it was almost like a religious Icon, then it struck me it's not really a football club but a kind of religious cult, it shows all the signs like it's members can do no wrong according to the believers, strange club

They have some strange inbuilt mindset, unshakable in thier belief that they're the best club/team in the world, a loss is the work of the devil as they are the mighty pool the greatest team the world has ever seen and ordained to win everything, the fact thier a bunch of cheating cunts seems to have pasted them by for the last 30 years, funny that:)

Got to say I enjoyed beating these turds last night . I saw a bit of the history channel last night . That old bugger the Saint was moaning about the referee . I remember all the times we got dicked by the referee at Anfield and Maine Road .

Jesus fucking Christ, they should have won 4-2, they're "an organic entity" and we're "just a false oil club", the ref cheated them out of it (obviously missed Skrtel trying to take Kompany's shirt off his back every corner) and they are "LIVERPOOL FC" why in caps I have no idea.

There was a great post, written by a Chelsea fan I believe, that covers this very idea. It's pretty convincing!

They show all the signs of a mad religious cult, and I know I am not the only one to have noticed it, rags have for years been saying the same thing

A few of the wifes family were on mourning yesterday whilst I gloated openly after the win.

Before the match they were explaining how our run had come to an end by the champions elect.

Phone silence ensued.....the wife has spoken to their wives and they are in her words (Inconsolable) which she told me with a smile as big as Giggs sister in laws battered chuff.

fixtures have been kind to them as have been various events.. Aside from Everton,, all the teams going for the top 4 have played at least 6 more games including traveling to europe. They lost at the gooners, us and likely the chavs this weekend. Rodgers can't contain himself last year showed that they haven't the squad for european football and champions league qualification, this year if they miss out its back to the europa and likely no Suarez. So it really is their season fail this year and they really are isshhtorry.

I know its Liverpool rather than Everton but remind me how iffy Peter Walton was and that he cut and ran after requesting a final game reffing Everton.

Liverpool are like the rags they never lose only get beaten unfairly.

Hoping the moaning **** gets a FA ban. I'm yet to watch the full match (apart from being there) but there seemed to be more decisions than just the few MOTD highlighted that went against us as well. Mason is at best useless.

I think liverpool have been excellent this season, compared to the last 3 years at least. Will still have a big fight for top 4 , they are likely to be fifth after this week's games and dont have the squad to sustain a challenge for the title. Would be a huge achievement to get 4th this season , but it was bad form by Rodgers, the sterling miss from 3 yards was a bigger outrage than any referees decision. Rodgers reminded me of when Benitez went on his "facht" rant which backfired and ended their title challenge in 2008. He should have just applauded his team for a good performance against the best team in the league,
