Great news for Liverpool, but a stupid move on Suarez's part unless he has a reasonably minimum release fee of around 50 million should Liverpool fail to make top 4. If Liverpool do make top 4 then a minimum release fee of 70 million would be fair. No big club except maybe Monaco will be able to afford even 70 million for him so he will likely end up staying at Liverpool next season.

rumor is £60m if they make top 4, lower if they don't, dunno how true that is though, now if someone could ask the tea lady at anfield...
hard luck against Chelsea btw, thought you deserved at least a draw out of that game.

If that is the case then would not say Liverpool have done particularly well.

Yeh we were unlucky against Chelsea. O'keefe almost scored and Delaney had several chances from free kicks. Was sitting in the Chelsea end for that game, which meant could not join in with the Palace fans.

I was in with them for the 4-2, 'escorted out' at 3-1, probably a good thing tbf. yeh they don't really seem to have done that well if that's true, they would have gotten 60m (maybe in cash + players) out of real or Monaco et al anyway and they've now doubled suarezs wages, the only thing I can think of is they must be really confident of keeping him, which means finishing in the top 4, big gamble. Newcastle this weekend, that's tough but winnable if you lot play well.

LOL. Yes I imagine it was for the best. Still that's probably the most cheering they see there.

Speaking of Monaco just lost and blown a chance to go top. Falcao came on to miss a penalty and had a goal rightfully disallowed at the death for offside.

If the clauses are correct then it's a big gamble for Liverpool. It seems they are banking of coming in the top 4 and are trying to convince Suarez to stay.

Newcastle should be a good game. I hope Pardew gets a good reception got a bit of stick for some fans when he was at West Ham. As you say if we play well it's a winnable game. I think the result will depend on Cameron Jerome. I think most of our other players will continue their good form, but not sure how he will play. Not sure, who we will be playing in the centre though.

If we Re: Liverpool Thread 2013/14

if we didn't win the league then I would prefer Liverpool did than any other side.

They hate them cunts as much as we do and so for that reason alone they are ok by me.

It's quite weird to think we finished 7th last season and was six points off top four last year :o
Hopefully we keep going and get top four and maybe win the FA Cup.

Loving it.

First John terry in poundland and now Suarez in Costco.. suck on that media!

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/champions-league/10531193/Liverpool-striker-Luis-Suarez-beats-Cristiano-Ronaldo-as-my-world-player-of-the-year.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/footba ... -year.html</a>

Suarez is James Richardson's player of the year.. you get the impression he's not a big Tranny fan.
