According to todays press Liverpool are going to be stripped of their best players in this transfer window, both suarez and Sterling apparently wanted in Spain

Sterling won't go anywhere (though it would be nice for a young English talent to get some experience abroad for a change), but Suarez is fair game. He hates the press in this country and whilst the Spanish may not be any better, not playing for Liverpool would be a huge bonus. Peak of his career and offered a big move to one of the biggest clubs in the world, he'd be daft not to take it. Hopefully by the time Aguero is getting to his age we'll be the big swinging dicks of Europe and he won't want to go.

Although they were our direct rivals last season and a lot of their fans got quite giddy I still don't mind them as a club. I think Rodgers has shown he is a very good manager and can motivate his team. I think Suarez will probably go but they will get quite a bit of money off the back of it and it will be interesting to see what kind of players Rodgers will be able to bring in and mould in to the team.

While I agree that Rodgers did prove he can motivate his team and he created a very potent attacking force, he proved to be tactically naïve in that instead of settling for a point against Chelsea, and shutting up shop when Palace scored their first, he seemed to know only one way of playing. And that was to attack. This tactical naïveté ultimately led to Liverpool missing out on the title, as we kept going when it mattered and won our last five games.

For me, Liverpool are a great team, with a top captain and a top manager. If anyone else would've won it, last season, I would've prefered it was them over Chelsea or Arsenal.

Thing is, there was SO many factors that went in their favour, last season. Suarez having an absolute belter for one. A small fixture list (relatively speaking.) Chelsea and City getting new managers who had to change a lot of things at their respective clubs. Support and goodwill of the country (which arguably goes a long way.)

My point is that they will not repeat their campaign performance this season, whether they keep Suarez or not. They missed their best chance to win the league. Unlucky. It's out of us and Chelsea, next season.

I hope Liverpool do well though... well... as long as 'doing well' doesn't interfere with our dominance :D

Hope the stories about Suarez going are true. Without him, and with Gerrard coming rapidly to the end of his career and Rodgers unable to organise a defence, last season's second place could well turn out to be be a distant memory.

I'm beginning to think that he may actually leave this summer

We'll if you were Real Madrid or Barcelona looking for a top class striker and were considering Aguero and Suarez, you'd be looking at the latter.

I honestly think that had pellers blown the league by being so naive from the position they had got themselves in we would have wanted him sacked not awarding him a fresh contract
