A few, most seem to think there's no chance they'll lose.

Tiresome Brendan Rodgers love in over Balo today

"knows how to handle the tough characters", etc

Suarez bit 2 people and racially abused another under his watch!

No he didn't, the Racist thing was on the Scottish retro 80's Managers watch.

So what difficult players has Brenda managed then?
He didn't even try with Andy Carroll, and I don't call blindly defending Suarez and kissing his arse constantly 'man management' - it was more a case of desperately trying to keep hold of him, which didn't fucking work!
I'm gonna get me some popcorn, cos its gonna be great watching the fireworks (pun intended) at Anfield.

Rogers would be a good number two at a good club.

I rate him around the same level as the current Villa Manager and perhaps slightly ahead of the likes of Steve Bruce.

I would have thought he would have been a good fit for us before we got Sven if he had been available then.

Anybody disagree?

Glad we didn't get hi - something about him I really dislike

Yes me. He pisses all over the elephant man and Lambert.

I think he did a great job last season taking them to 2nd from 7th. His teams play good football.

He has certainly done a good job so far.

After Rodgers and his men returned home to their fortress news began to filter through of another army desperate to take apart Rodger’s men. This was no small army. This was the army known as “The City”. The City had been drowned in wealth, gold and precious stones further than the eye could see. Money was no object for the City and their rulers were as wealthy as anyone had ever known. This in turn meant a few things. 1. Everyone wanted to destroy them and ransack their City and 2. It also meant they were able to buy up the finest army to defend them that the world had ever seen. Each and every soldier was cloaked in the finest weaponry and armour that had been created and the City had also bought every soldier that they could. Rodgers eyes flickered with delight. Fear was not something he knew anymore. He craved this fight more than any other that had gone before him. He welcomed The City to come and fight him on his home soil, the soil he knew his men would fight like dogs to protect. Rodgers was not worried about the weapons, the glamour or strength of the army coming to face him and his men. He knew they could win. He wanted this scalp to add to the already many that he had already taken. He needed this one and would stop at nothing to get it. His men had a fire that burnt within. They lusted the blood of any that opposed them and they could smell it marching down the hill

I do. I think he's a very good manager, nobody expected Liverpool to challenge for the title last season, and but for Gerrard slipping on his backside, they very nearly did it, which would have been a remarkable achievement. In a short space of time, he's turned them right around from the dross they were under Dalglish and Hodgson. The likes of Moyes and Hughes failed to cut it at the top, but he's bucked that trend, he's a modern manager unlike a lot of the British dinosaurs that are around in the Premier League. I would like to see someone like him in charge of England, because he does know his stuff. I get why people don't like him, he seems a bit of a vain character, who likes the sound of his voice, but I like him as a manager.

I think if Lambert was in charge of Liverpool last year they would have finished second but alas we will never know.

Given it was Jose's first season back with no strikeforce , Manure went walkabout and Wenger well he was being Wenger again it was tailor made for a side without Chumps League to make a " quantum leap ".

To many in the know Liverpool's rise was no more surprising than Manure's fall.

At the start of the season I had them finishing above us along with Chelsea.

How wrong I was.

Don't get me wrong he is competent and a reasonable fit for Liverpool but top of the line he will never be.

The way Suarez and Sturridge combined last season even I would have gone along for the ride at the helm.

Sturridge and Balotelli along with Chumps League

As you say lets see what happens over the next two seasons.

I like his teeth.

Didn't his younger floosy insist on the teeth job to make him have that Shane Warne feel about him when Shreeves was giving him "hell" before the troops went out to war after he dumped his misses for her so he got more penetration in her tender moments if she let him.

At least Warne got the b grade actress for a while (LOL).

Brendan probably still thinks he is a chance with her (LOL).

The only thing he thinks is bigger than his ego is his member.

Go on Mario try this one on for size instead of sucking on ice creams.

Balotelli will earn around £180k/week before tax according to Di Marzio. Goal says they've offered Eto'o £75k/week for a one year deal. Suarez was on around £200k.

They've also signed Can, Lallana, Lambert, Markovic, Lovren, Manquillo and Moreno in fairly high profile deals.

Their main sales besides Suarez have been Martin Kelly and Pepe Reina.

Now unless I'm mistaken, domestic FFP has a rule where you can only raise your wage bill by a little bit (£3m a year is it?). But this seems, on paper at least, to be going far beyond that. Am I misunderstanding something with Premier League FFP?

Haha, they are fucking unbelievable. RAWK is the only place such a thing could be posted with sincerity, and Liverpool fans are the only fans who would lap it up.

I'd have to look again but wasn't there a provision that if you increased revenue you could increase your wage bill by more than the set limits? They'll have a big revenue boost this year going from no European football to Champions League.
