When are they doing a parade for the golden boot trophy? It’s the headline on BBC 5 live that Salah won it... not much else to report I guess
Would be the perfect end to a wonderful season.Hope Madrid rip them a new arse hole.
six points ? whenThe most disappointing thing about this thread is the fact we are making the Dippers relevant , they finished 4th and 25 points adrift , they were of more relevance when brenda managed them in 2014 , the only difference is Klopp and his team have fluked their way to a Champs League final with at least a dozen favourable refereeing decisions and a striker who is carrying their team single handed. They can have the six points that we gift wrap for them every season , and their "We Beat City Cup" , i will settle for another couple of more tangible trophies and won with the best football the Premier league has ever seen.
The power of media brainwashing.six points ? when
Hope he was searched for bricks, bottles cans and a note from his Mam excusing his behaviour.I hope someone told him he wont see Henderson, Salah, Mane etc before the bus arrived ...

I've never wanted Real Madrid to win a game more.
Got into a youtube "discussion" yesterday with an old scouse chancer, who reckons the 87-88 Liverpool season was the best because they beat Forrest 5-0 and Liverpool battered us 3 times this season. The rest of our discussion pretty much confirmed to me there is no other set of fans more deluded or simply willing to lie their way out of a corner. Their passage from the quarters right through to the final could not have been more fortunate in regards to big decisions going their way and pretty much deciding the tie but they wont admit it, because of their 'scouse delusion syndrome'(nasty condition I'd pity them if they weren't so annoying with it) they cannot see it any other way than the ref was good, City got battered fair and square and Roma are just sour too because they battered them n' all.
Apparently we weren't hard done by in the CL because:
Mané should have had a nailed on penalty prior to Salah's goal for a push in the box - I literally had to go back and look for this in the first 10 mins... I couldn't even find a single Mané incident in the box... is he making it up as I suspect or have I missed something?
Sterling should have been sent off for two dives? - Couldn't find any dives either.
Ederson should have been sent off because "he pushed Mane 4 times" - Yes reacting to his dangerous foul on Otamendi... and it was push in the chest, so a yellow card was given and was correct.
Sterling fouled VVD for our opener at the Etihad - That's the only call I can sort of see but it would have been so soft and it was all VVD's fault for trying to hook it back in play, Sterling couldn't avoid contact as he was right behind him. If it was a deliberate action there'd be a stronger case but it was totally unavoidable.
Also the only reason they didn't even have a good spell at the Etihad as I pointed out to him was because the ref was helping us by giving us every 50/50 decision? - Unbelievable Jeff.
Roma got given 6 big decisions against Liverpool too apparently:
"2 ridiculous penalties" - I only count 1 contentious one?
Mané should have had another penalty - Again cannot find it in any of the highlights and I'm definately not sifting through the full game to find out he's lying again. Seems to be a theme that Mane is always the victim every big game they play with them.
There was more but that's where his post cut out on the youtube alerts because the user removed the video. Kind of disappointed by that because I really wanted to see the depths he would sink to, to make his team the victims.
...
Really though he's not the only Dipper that has said some of the above, we are all a little biased and maybe some of our post-match talking points include the odd call we'd have been lucky to get(a soft free kick here and there) but we are a million miles away from the type I mentioned in this post. I don't even think the rags would be trying to claim half the stuff a lot of them are. It's not just a stereotype after all despite their protests they really are the most deluded fans in the PL/Europe.
Similar conversation with a dipper at work.
He reckoned if Klopp had got VVD and Keita at beginning of season and Lallana, Can and Chamberlain hadn't got injured, they'd have been challenging us for the title.
As for the 2nd leg of CL game, our goal shouldn't have stood as VVD was fouled twice.
If that goal is not scored, he pressure is off and they end up winning 3-0 away and 6-0 on aggregate. Oh and also we've been incredibly lucky with injuries
I hope someone told him he wont see Henderson, Salah, Mane etc before the bus arrived ...

The only way the **** is going to see it ; )
Channel 4 are showing a one hour prime time programme on the world's newest 'superstar player', Mo Salah to be shown next Tuesday.
Fair play to the guy, he has been superb this season. But that's the thing ... this season. Just the one. And that is enough it seems, to become worthy of such lauding as a world star up there with Messi etc ? Ever so slightly OTT?
