My take on this rivalry... a small minority of Liverpool fans are obviously complete idiots - but this small minority doesn't at all seem to be representative of the typical Liverpool supporter.

That said - Liverpool need to come down very strongly against these idiots to make 100% clear that this sort of behavior is intolerable - they've not done so IMO.

The problem is, they haven’t come down on them and they never will. Nothing ever is done and they close ranks whatever scummy acts the team or their fans commit. Manslaughter, attempted murder? Stick together. Biting, racism? Stick together. Bricking opposition coaches? Stick together

The only time they don’t is when their keeper lets them down in a final. Everything else they won’t lift a finger against their own fans or team.
