With Suarez.
So? It's rare for any manager to challenge for the title without world class players. It's far more common for managers to fail to challenge for the title despite having world class players.

For the record, I do rate Klopp, but he's been slow to fix obvious flaws in this Liverpool team.

Not sure where this animosity is coming from honesty.

Probably you hate Liverpool - for reasons, as a person born and living in the states - I won't ever appreciate.

That aside - Klopp is a wonderful manager.

Liverpool's current owners won't spend anything like we will - they have a limited budget. The team Klopp took over was a mess.

Has he won the PL title in his tenure? Nope.

Will he before he leaves - probably not.

That said, he's a very solid manager, has improved his side tremendously, and honestly, given his budget, is doing far better than some run-of-the-mill manager (Rodgers, Dalgleish, etc.).
I don't hate him as i don't know him,he has been built up to be a wonderful manager when the time has come to prove it in the prem he is just an ok manager,he spent more on VVD than we spent on Kev,the team he inherited nearly won the league if it wasn't for slipperty slipping so it was not that bad,we are so far apart on what wonderful is that we should leave it there except to say we expect more from our "top" managers over here

.... with Salah.
:-)
Knew that was coming, LOL.

Salah has had an amazing season - I thought that Liverpool were done when they sold Coutinho, but if anything, they improved.

There's luck in management - Rodgers and Klopp both have had their share. But honestly, do you think that Rodgers is anywhere near as good as Klopp?

Rodgers was average and Klopp will fail at Liverpool.

Salah has made him look better than he is.

Rodgers was 1 drawn game and a slip away from winning the league!

Fair enough.

I will say however, that over the past few years - probably due to the huge TV revenue clubs are getting in the PL - that the PL has been able to attract the best managers in World football along with much of the best talent. Over the past 2 years our performances in the Cl/Euros have improved as well.

To top it off, a lot of the top sides are playing really attractive football, and if Sarri goes to Chelsea it will only be the scum that are unwatchable.

Great times to be a fan of City or for that matter any top (not scum) side in the PL.
