Challenge for top four but not the title
I actually think that they'll be closest to pushing us for the title next season at least. But we're built to win the league - far deeper and far more able to withstand injury. Too, we seem to play at a high level consistently whereas Liverpool, for whatever reason, seem to coast against inferior sides dropping points needlessly.

I much more fear Liverpool in cup competitions - they'll be up for these games and in a one-or-two-off - well, anything could happen.

Klopp worked magic at BD. His sides will challenge - but so long as we have Pep I think we'll prevail.
Imagine, the club with (by far and away) the second biggest resources in Germany winning the occasional trophy? Mental.

Can't imagine what that Felix Magath would be like.

Klopp is out on his Arse if they fail next season no matter what he done at Dortmund.
Whatever he has done at Dortmund is in the past.
He is now known as a loser.Six final defeats .in a row.

I don't hate him as i don't know him,he has been built up to be a wonderful manager when the time has come to prove it in the prem he is just an ok manager,he spent more on VVD than we spent on Kev,the team he inherited nearly won the league if it wasn't for slipperty slipping so it was not that bad,we are so far apart on what wonderful is that we should leave it there except to say we expect more from our "top" managers over here

No. The team Klopp inherited did not have Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling who were integral to nearly winning the League.

Edit: Sturridge was there but always injured.

Source?
Each year I've checked, Bayern has 40% or so more to spend than BD, BD is second or third with the 3rd place club either ahead in resources or nearly so.

2017/18 revenue
1. Bayern Munich €578.8m
2. BVB Dortmund €332.6m
3. Schalke 04 €230.2m
4. Borussia Moenchengladbach €169.3m

That's the top 4 in Germany, couldn't check the rest as they didn't have enough revenue to get into the top 30 in Europe.

Schalke and Hamburg were closer back then, but both clubs have been a clusterfuck for years as any of the German clubs on here will tell you.
