Really ? , any team that suffers four game changing decisions from a referee will not turn that particular game around with different tactics or approach to the game , we just need a different referee , an honest one with a pair of bollocks, and i didnt see many aberations when we hammered them 5-0 . although as we now know , this result has been annulled from the history books , it never happened

This absolutely. If the away CL match was refereed properly, we would have won that game. No question.

For all the furore over their summer business, it’s a little bit of an anti-climax now.

The GK looks the part but Fabinho, keita and Shaquri haven’t got going at all. In fact, apart from some brief bits, Keita has looked dreadful

I thought the main thing is, was their defence actually challenged the front 3. We have, in the past, tended to back off and concede them space.

To be fair I would say that's partly down to the pace of their front 3 and our back 3 not wanting to get caught out. All of Napoli's defenders were comfortable on the ball, strong and quick when they needed to be. Theres always a brain fart in at least 2 of ours every time we play them.

Tbh Walker annoys the hell out of me, at times. He's quite happy to just stop and refuse any responsibilty. He seems to think that if he just ignores
something, then it's not his problem.

Would say it's more down to his poor positioning and awareness without the ball that can see him caught out at times, ala Will Grigg incident. Agree i still think he's a good defender but there is a but.
