Will never understand why anybody would want something that detriments us.
I hope united fucking leather Liverpool today, which keeps us top of the league. Simple. We gain nothing from seeing united beat.

If it were March/Apr then I would agree in wanting a rag win, but we are not half way through the season yet. Will we win all our remaining games - probably not. Will the dippers, most certainly not. A dippers win for me today imo does not give them any advantage over us over the course of the season, but it will be another nail in the coffin for that scum of a club over the way.

if the dippers go on and win the league, it will because of our performances, not theirs

All that said, I will not be unhappy if a shock were to occur this afternoon

It's a bit of a puzzler, this one. The rags hate the dippers more than they do us. For that reason alone they might up their game and get the three points - bragging rights, and all that. But conversely, they know by beating the dippers that they'd be doing us a favour.

WTF have they got to be angry about?
Klopp is strange.

Klopp thinks that football should be about emotions. He has stated numerous times (at Dortmund too) that he wants his players to be angry, hungry, greedy and fearless. A fair guess is that this mentality is what fuels the intense pressure that his teams muster up, during the periods of games (especially at home).

There is a well documented antidote, and it's stalling. Opponents drags the tempo down, suddenly the fluidity and intensity is replaced by frustration.

And today Liverpool are playing the master of stalling. I'm always extremely pessimistic when Klopp plays Mourinho. Have a really bad feeling going into this game.

Let's all hope you are right.

Dippers starting to poo their knickers at the slightest bit of pressure.

Imagine the state of them if they were 8 points behind with 6 games to go a la 2011/12.

Boring 0-0 with a dozen red cards after a mass brawl, fans scrapping everywhere, racial and gender abuse flowing from the stands, kipperty and the special one team up on the ref after invading the pitch...
