I hope so. Would be great to extend the lead. Points preferable to games in hand, it’d be good to be ahead by 4 Pts the weekend we play in the FA CupThis for me is where the pressure really mounts. If, hopefully, we go out and smash Watford, they will have to get something against Burnley. They will know even a win leaves them still a point behind and anything less is a bit of a disaster. Let's hope the Burnley of old turn up. Blanket defence and smash a couple totally against the run of play on the break. If it is 0-0 after 60 minutes their arses will be twitching. Even better an early Burnley goal and 0-1 down.

And the goals difference. Let's assume Liverpool draw against Spurs or United. The difference in cushion will hinge on goal difference. City would feel comfortable knkowing they can drop a match with any result rather than needing to avoid defeat to go back below Liverpool.
I think the goal difference advantage is plus 7 at the moment. A few high scoring games will put a lot f pressure on Liverpool.

If Liverpool want to win the league they will have to be points better than us. We will dish out a couple of hidings between now and the end of the season, I cannot see goal difference being an issue

I think that weekend they play Fulham away so an almost guaranteed three points there.
If Burnley survive first 20mins they’ll have a chance. Liverpool run out of ideas fast. Watford capitulated early doors. Everton, Utd and West Ham showed what happens if your survive the early onslaughtIf we beat Watford, fancy the scousers to drop points against Burnley.

I work away from home, last three years include; Lincolnshire, Carlisle, Durham, and can vouch that each and every place has their share of sanctimonious, know it all Liverpool "fans" and it's obvious that they piss off the locals who can't be bothered to argue / debate an alternate view with them.Liverpool have fans all over the country in every village, town, and city, and many of them will piss off the locals with their incessant bullshit, sanctimony, and lack of self-awareness despite most of them never having attended a match at Anfield.

Or if it's sang at kickoff it might get dipper players thinking about league tables and fixture lists instead of the game in front of them.I just think if they get a scare off a team mid game, then this would test their resolve even more
