Hope the dippers get battered

If Barca turn it on it could be a fun night that might just set liverpool back in their next game against newcastle. Liverpools form has been great this season and they havent had any setbacks bar the loss against us. A heavy defeat in the Camp Nou might just make a few of the players to have slight doubts - it happens

Hopefully barca will run them ragged

Like this forum, been lurking for a while.

However, I don't know why you have such a bad opinion of Liverpool and fans, unless it's just the general twitter consensus of divs.

Most Liverpool fans, like me, hugely respect city and have been bigging them up for the past two seasons. The anfield wrap podcast always talk about how good city and pep are.

Anyway, my point is, don't think all LFC fans are the trolls off the internet cause they arent.

Obviously I want Liverpool to win the league, but if not, it's because city were better and are a great side.

Here's to a few more years of the rivalry, hopefully

That's a reasonable opening post, so welcome to the forum. Clearly, we are mostly CITY fans on here, so you might need thick skin ;)

Personally would love it if the Barca fans smashed the coach to bits and put a bull in the changing rooms !

If that makes me a bad person then so be it !

Fed up of this lot
That would be a tough one for UEFA to sort out.

Apparently the Dipper's are footballing royalty, so Barca will probably get kicked out of the competition.

Barca just became La Liga Champions.

Won 1-0 and stayed in second gear.

Hopefully Suarez will score a HT and celebrate wildly.

His point is that until Littlewoods Pools "financially doped" Liverpool FC, the playing field was much more even, therefore trophies were more evenly distributed.

The second line of your post only emphasises the point.
OK try 1930's Arsenal 5 titles.

Won't matter. Liverpool to beat them on away goals and get pumped by Ajax in the final. Get yer money on it!
You might not be far off the mark with that prediction.
Was reading a article by Graham Hunter the other day who knows his Spanish football, and he was saying all Liverpools strengths directly related to Barca weaknesses.
I would say as well that Ajax are exactly the sort of team that the dippers struggle with, good in possession like us but move the ball forward a bit quicker so the dippers press is less likely to be so effective.

I cannot understand what point you are trying to make here. Why 10 seasons ? why those 10 ? Its all bo****ks really. 78-79 till 88-89 Lpool 7 titles, 92-93 till -2002-2003 Man Utd 8 titles. Different years different results.
Bit of an overreaction to what I wrote there.

I wasn't saying they didn't have many years of success, they obviously did. I was simply saying 26 years is giving them a bit too much credit, it was more like mid 70s onwards they dominated instead of mid 60s as was suggested. I thought it was obvious what I meant by 7 different champions in those 10 years, means Liverpool were not yet the dominant force.

So more like 16 years, that's still a long time for one team to be way ahead of everyone else, in fact it had never happened before to that extent.
