... the bit about Liverpool is humourous.

 
Nike kit deal announced.

Apparently £80mill a year.

£15mill more than our deal with Puma.

£5mill more than United.

They are riding the crest of a wave atm. Everything is going right for them. Winning the CL was perfect timing. It highlighted to Nike how big their worldwide fan base is, and the amount of shirts Nike can shift. Add the other two poxy trophies they’ve just won, this season PL title, almost in the bag, and another possible CL trophy, as well as the FA Cup trophy, God forbid, and Nike will be manufacturing new Liverpool shirts 24/7 next season.

That’s a good deal and a good deal for Nike the scousers sell shit loads of shirts when doing well
 
I think I've recovered from the Derby. Is it possible to sack an entire squad?

ETA: tbh when I saw that Walcott, Schneiderlin and Sigurdsson were all starting, I had a horrible feeling we'd lose. Quelle surprise. Did Sigurdsson even get any touches?
