Cult not happy

That second comment is perfectly right though.
All we keep hearing is clubs should be doing this and that but why are the players not being asked.
Every single one of them should be asked to either agree or disagree to play as it's them that could be potentially putting their health at risk.

Maybe they will finally realise as a club that the actions of their feral fans down the decades has finally come to bite them in the arse. Form tells you that the mayor is right, they are ****s and cant be trusted not to revert to type
bang on, of course they will. There'll be tens of thousands of the ****s lining the streets and hanging around the stadium.

Well said, Wally.

Something else just popped into my three brain cells: if they had done the decent thing and said the League should be cancelled, maybe the world would begin to view them in a different light. People might have thought: that took some doing...hey, there is a shred of humanity in that cess pit.

Sure, after all the repugnant things that organisation has perpetrated and over the years, this action wouldn't have just wiped the slate clean. But maybe it'd have been a step in the right direction.

No, their idea of the moral high ground is banging out press releases about Sir Jordan taking the credit for players doing something. And that cost them nothing, except a ream of ASDA printer paper.

I know: "You may say I'm a dreamer".

Yea but dont forget they were going to furlough their staff until the public turned on them...so I dont think the public would see them in a different light !
