It's not unprecedented. Seem to remember the rags invented social distancing on their open top bus parade back in 2011 when it was reported that the crowds on Deansgate were up to one deep in places!

I'm just watching some film about Gerrard on ITV4. Its an okay film but one thing that irks me about every single programme, interview and article about this lot. It's the bullshit myth that somehow for them it means more. I have some fucking news that might come as a surprise to that cult.....it doesn't. For every single club, player and fan out there from a kids side to world cup winners it matters exactly the same to them too.

As a side note, watching that parade and the desperate attempts to make it look well attended was one of the funniest things I've ever seen, EVER, Monty Pythonesque.

I can see civil unrest, rioting, looting and so on. Why, it could cause millions of pounds worth of .....They’ll blame the council who are about to go pop.
I wouldn’t be at all suprised if there is disorder in Liverpool in the not too distant future.

Can't be right - GMP had the official attendance down as 659m with a ten year waiting list for the rest that couldn't make it......It's not unprecedented.
