The Villa game was fairly even due to the weather for the most part they played the conditions well and Dzeko's opener had more than a touch of luck about it IIRC. We were the better team though and Villa were dogged to say the least up until going one down, then, they just seemed to collapse. I agree that we looked comfortable against West Ham. The last thirty minutes or so of that game seemed surreal after the drama two years before!

And what a injury time goal by Yaya - pure brilliance to cap a memorable individual season

The number of times I've watched that goal, looked at different parts and thought what if;-

• Dean had given a foul for Lescott's slight push on the forward at the throw-in.
• Sergio had hit the shot first time.
• He'd gone down for a penalty, would we have got it, would we have scored?
