Liverpool thread 2019/20

It is a bit of a shit situation for Liverpool as they were going to win the PL before the whole CoVid19 situation and were on course for a records points tally.

However, whilst I don’t think there will be any controversy over them winning the league, there certainly will be over any points records they may go on to break.

Having a two-month break, out-of-contract players leaving, changing rules on substitutes and the loss of home advantage has a massive impact on the integrity of the league. I also think if the title race was like last season, the league would not be restarting.

Well, well, well they may be 25 points clear and on the verge of getting their first premier league trophy, when the season resumes and then concludes,I for one I’m glad it’s not us in their position as for the majority of All football fans it will always have that question mark/asterisk next to the title win, that’s before you start talking about behind closed door games and neutral venues, give them the title they crave it’s not been won over a bonafide season ...

It is rather apt (And will forever be associated) that the virus name and Liverpool winning trophy count is the same.

their coveted Covid-19 league title.
Double winning T-shirt’s available for a reasonable £39.99 plus postage and packing.

Shadow Sports Minister - "lack of equality" at Liverpool

The Shadow Sports Minister, Alison McGovern MP for Wirral South, a Liverpool supporter who has attended women's team fixtures, called the inequality at the club "stark".

She told the Telegraph Sport. "I have to ask myself why women's football - in general, but particularly in Liverpool's case - is still given too little respect, too little investment and too little equality."

Compare and contrast this with City Women. The difference could not be more stark either.

Unfortunately supporting their own womens team doesn't get them as much attention as the staged taking a knee shit or I'm sure they'd be all over it quicker than you could put candles and flowers on some chicken entrails.

you would have thought that a club that is so proud to be a socialist club ( I know formed by the tories ) that it would treat all its employee's the same men or women. Seems not.
