The FIFA bomb has just dropped towards the end of the page.
TBH, the whole page and thread is just pure hatred. Lovely. :-)

I love this tactical foul bullshit they've resorted to, they're just looking at the raw stats and comparing it to others which is flawed from the outset.
First off, the refs don't get these right all the time, they are not consistent from team to team, not even game to game for the same team either. So how much stock can you really place in comparisons based on such flaky data?
Secondly, most of the fouls they are counting towards it that are just niggly fouls, not tactical ones. A tug on the shirt from a player who has broke the press should count but not successfully cornering the man on the ball but not quite getting the ball clean enough. They are not all tactical, niggly fouls are part of the game but not normally deliberate, as they are trying to imply. Who are these idiots that don't get the difference, while preaching like they have sussed out a big secret?
Anyone who watched the community shield properly, will have seen Liverpool actually fouled more than City in the half they were praised to the hilt for(against a tiring City who made less subs). The difference was, the guy with the whistle decides whether to blow or not on these niggly fouls. In that second half Liverpool were waved on time and time again, to the point where a City freekick finally being given, drew a loud sarcastic cheer. I believe it was one on KDB that was right infront of the linesman.
Any team with a heavy pressing game will concede fouls, Liverpool are no different when they apply their press. For all the flack Fernandinho gets, he can tackle better than any of their midfielders(Kieta, Wijnaldum, Fabhino easily). Furthermore a front three of Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling(vastly improved at this under Pep) and Gabriel Jesus easily tackles better than their front 3 man for man.
