Agreed. That's something that needs to change in future.

I agree with that too. We can moan to each other as much as we like, but let us give visitors the benefit of the doubt. If they turn out to be tossers, then fair enough, but let's see what they have to say first.

If fans of other clubs come on here and start acting the arse then they should be dealt and by that I mean they should expect a deserved tsunami of abuse.

But similarly if members on here that are blues start giving them unjustified stick just thread ban them.

Of course we should be respectful to guests who support other teams.
It’s a two way street though, Ric.
I’ve lost count of the Liverpool fans who sign up and within a dozen posts start to take the piss.
They think they’re being subtle about it but you’d have to be an idiot to not pick up on it.
The forum would be a lot better for having more supporters from other clubs getting involved in discussions without resorting to ‘City bingo’ - sadly most can’t help themselves and slip up early doors.
Overall I agree with GDMs post. I know loads of Liverpool fans who are absolutely top lads in real life - fuck, for my sins I have a son who lives there so have spent enough time there.
Sadly they don’t tend to represent their club on SM so you’re left with a load of dickheads who wouldn’t be able to pick out Liverpool on a map giving it the big one.

To be honest I’ve never understood posting on another team’s forum, dunno why they should expect anything other than Pelters.

RAWK appears to be closed to new subscribers.

Notwithstanding that, I've not seen a single comment from a City fan on their City thread to try and discuss any type of viewpoint, football or otherwise.
I'm presuming in the early days there will have been some, but been axed by their mods

This thread captures all other discussions apart from football?
Then we can have the joy of abusing and discussing the horrrible fans and club and good focused football chat?

The option to opt out of subforums was always something I wished would have happened, so you could opt out of say politics and religion but happily discuss football, killing geese or odd socks

Years of preferential treatment in the press have clouded their own opinions of themselves as a club and fan base. When they are not fully called out for the things they have done, and when the press over glorify their under achievements then they lose perspective on what is valid comment, preferring the 'offended outrage' route as soon as the black clouds of criticism roll in.

Absolutely this. 100%.

Most people are football fans who choose a certain club. We love the sport, we watch any kind of game whenever and wherever we can, and the club(s) we choose to support we get behind them because we love them...they are part of an extended family. But, and this is the situation as I see it, dipper fans hate other clubs far more than they love their own. They are the sort of fans who probably get more pleasure seeing another club failing than watching their own team winning a trophy.
They won the C.L. but you'd never have guessed it. They have spent all their time since whinging and whining about us, bleating about oil money and having plastic fans, etc. Instead of looking back on what for them has been a very good season, they are spitting venom at us for having an even better season.

When supporters of other clubs come on here they are very very seldom as full of hatred and deep-rooted animosity as the dippers are. They might throw in the odd barbed comment, but nothing too OTT. Besides, all opposing fans know what they'll receive back...with considerable interest! As we would expect if any of us went on another team's forum and starting throwing insults about. But I always feel when a dipper fan comes on here that it's only a matter of time before he or she starts spewing the hatred for any other club that they all seem to have been harbouring since birth.

Fine. If any dipper fans want to come on here and join in, I have no issues whatsoever. But I know, and I suspect deep down we all know, that their stay will not be harmonious.
