Give it a rest, That's not what happened is it? He pretended to walk away and leave it for somebody else to take. When the Real players turned their heads he ran back and kicked it. It's like doing a "hey what's that over there" ? And then nicking a chip off your mates plate. It's unsporting and fucking juvenile.

Oh please. Nothing was stolen, it's totally fair and it was clever. Barcelona were unprofessional and were caught napping. Simple as. Just agree to disagree.

Its the Dipper way , you cannot win a football match without cheating , bending rules , diving , smashing coaches up , you will sink to any level , every year you get more and more desperate to win the premier league , THIRTY FUCKING YEARS , and it cuts like a knife , and your glamour cup win hasnt healed any of the wounds, you bluffer.

I don't think we can moan about taking a corner when the opposition weren't ready, it's like saying it's not fair he kicked the ball too hard or it wasn't us it was Chelsea fans that did it.

Jimmy, I believe we can win without cheating, as do you. The Premier League Liverpool are desperate to win, yes. 30 years is a long time but cutting life a knife..... Eh no. The Champions League win was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed. Not a bluffer.
I think if Liverpool win or draw this game on Sunday we've a chance at the league, as long as we hold it together. Long season. Hopes of winning the league would take a serious blow if we lost on Sunday, very possible regardless of all the doom and gloom about injuries. Why does everyone here forget about how an injury riddled Norwich beat Man City? I think city's replacement players are better than any other teams. Liverpool are scraping wins too. The occasion could be too much pressure for the pool also, (generally don't deal well with pressure).
All up in the air. Are City still favourites or has that shifted since?

Yes I guess it is fair , its within the rules of the game ...but ....here is the point the dippers dont get .....IT WAS UNSPORTING. Not what you would expect from professional players nor indeed from your local pub team. Something you might do in a pre-season match for a laugh. But I guess sportsmanship and dippers are never seen in the same sentence, because if the dippers believed in sportsmanship they wouldnt cheat and dive ! Or just clear the snow from the end you are attacking , or the coach welcome.......admit it dipperpool are unsporting from the very top of the club down to your lowest fans...

Your analogy is lame. For one, Trent played within the rules of the game. So that's not cheating or trying to gain an advantage. Secondly, did he communicate to Origi to be on alert before taking the corner? Origi was ready and alert even with the ball coming at him that fast but Barca players were mentally wounded to be. Players score quick freekicks all the time (See David Luiz vs Liverpool). If your players are caught napping, it's all on them.

Are you seriously suggesting the corner TAA took was unsporting? It’s just like taking a quick free kick, sometimes the ref allows it, sometimes he doesn’t, it’s up to the defending team to be ready surely?

Nope. This is the only place I've seen it described as unsporting. Maybe it's been said so often that people are actually starting to believe it. If you take a free kick quickly because your forward makes an unexpected run is that unsporting? It's a crazy argument.
 
Nothing wrong with Arnold's corner, Barca switched off and were punished.

The Dippers are scum but even I can agree with them on the corner. Ilicic tried it on with a free-kick in the week, Gutierrez has told a tale of Aguero fooling him at a corner to run and take a short corner, everyone tries to gain a little advantage.

The problem is the Dippers and refs then go and break all the other rules by diving and scoring offside goals.
 
Cme n guys, I hate them as much as you do, but that Arnold's corner vs Barcelona stuff as cheating is cringe. He did fuck all wrong. It's same as taking fast free kick now the rules allow it. It's like saying a dribbling is cheating because you went left just to turn to the right. Plus I don't think he planned that at all.
 
A lot of us do not think we will get a result tomorrow simply because we are just not playing to our potential this season.

Injuries have hit us hard and we have yet to put out our best eleven together in the league. You live in hope of cause, that the team that plays tomorrow is on it for the full 90 minutes and the defensive errors that plague us do not reoccur.

I will be pleasantly surprised if we get anything from this match.
