You’ve got to give Klopp credit there. Last season they got criticised for going out of the cups early but that undoubtedly helped their ultimately failed quest for the title. This season, win the game, field an ineligible player, get thrown out, all the advantages of last season but they’re unfair victims this season. It’s a brilliant Kloppian plan!

So their new deal with Nike only gets them £30 million a year apparently. Wasn’t their ceo talking about the 700 million Liverpool fans they wanted to engage with over social media looked like he over egged this new crest of a wave they are on when little old City who can’t fill their stadium have a £65 million deal with Puma.
 
Haha see there new massive kit deal there supposedly getting from Nike is 15 million less than there current deal with New Balance, spying and ineligible players in the cup not there week is it.. I fucking love it
 
Think their Nike deal involves a cut of sales, so it will be much bigger.

Convenient for them to be kicked out of the cup isn't it.

“Liverpool face EFL Cup expulsion for fielding ineligible player against MK Dons”

According to today`s The Independent Liverpool face the prospect of being expelled from this season’s EFL Cup after fielding an ineligible player in their third round at MKD.

The EFL has warned clubs that it has “full power” to investigate clubs in breach of the competition’s rules and impose “penalties by way of reprimand, fine or other penalty (or any combination thereof)”.

Apparently Liverpool are investigating this "error".

How many more "errors" can this club commit ?
