It feels like an agenda from our point of view, the whole reason ffp was brought in was to stop City and PSG, it’s got rock all in to protecting clubs against debt, specially when they allow United and Madrid in it. Then how they changed their stance when it started effecting their other buddies Ac Milan, if your owner has money why can’t they invest it in how they seem fit. No other business sector adopts this stance.
Then they use stolen evidence from a blackmailer to build a case against us. I believe the incompetence of Uefa from a legal point of view will get City off on a technicality. Which suits them as they don’t have to do anything more but leaves City with a smear against our name, which suites everyone else as they can salivate over our dirty oil money ruining football.
The CSKA fiasco got even worse as Cska actually let some of their fans into the stadium when it was supposed to be behind closed doors.
The game against Spurs the ball was handled into the net by Llorente and given, then we get the same situation v Spurs in the premier league and it’s disallowed. Var is open to interpretation and not conclusive like it is in other sports. But that’s a debate for another day.
The other bit of apathy is the group games are nothing competitions. We know City will Cruise this group and the competition only gets going in March, Liverpool got beat off Napoli but you would put your house on them topping the group compared to the standard of the other teams. How many of the group games will mean nothing in November and December when qualification is pretty much secure? Uefa are starting to realise this by letting the super league rear it’s ugly head again.
