They probably won't need to go full strength in the club world Cup despite the money involved, they could be knocked out in first game as well as the the league Cup

Loads of clubs have tried to prioritise their competitions only to end up with nothing, I hope this is the case with this lot. If they draw us next round and they try to throw the cup after they draw us it'll look bad for them.

This is akin to Wolves manager complaining that they are in the Europa League.

You put your fingers in the fire they will get burnt. If LFC won the CL they have themselves to blame, spend some of the vast amounts of money their American benefactors have and buy some more players instead of following the Arsenal model of profit over titles.

I actually think it's pretty funny. He can't just come out and say that he doesn't care about this competition at all and tried his best to get tossed out of it like he does every year, so instead he has to go with the fixture date.

Well then Klopp. How about you fuck off then and drop out of it. Nobody gives a shit and Arsenal can take your spot. Should be sanctioned for playing in a competition that he no intention of playing in in the next round as well.

What the fuck is the world club cup anyway?

I disagree. His issue (made clearly if you read more than the headline) is that this was obvious months ago that the 1/4's and Club World cup clashed and the FA sat on their hands hoping they didnt reach it and now that they have they have no contingency.

Yes fixture pile up is a product of winning & teams need to suck it up, but as it stands without intervention they are due to play evening of the 17th at Villa & 20 hours later in qatar, which is obviously not possible - the losers here are now Watford, Villa and Sheffield United, who may all have PL fixtures moved to accommodate

his problem is not with the amount of games, its the fact that the FA have left it till now to scratch their arses.

Its against the code of conduct to pretend to be a City fan on here which you are doing.

You're a Liverpool fan so why try and hide that fact?

absolutely not & happy to share my personal pictures (not those ones) of me at City with anyone who wants to see them!

The thing united refused to play in the FA Cup one year for.
