It’s a stew that fishermen used to take around ports of the Baltic Sea, it’s got nowt to do with Liverpool.

Labs kausis means a "good plate" in Latvian, and in Lithuania they use labas káuszas for a "good plate". In other places: Norway (lapskaus), Sweden (lapskojs), Denmark (skipperlabskovs meaning "skipper's lobscouse") and northern Germany (labskaus) all mean the same thing, the name of the stew.

All much older words for the stew they’re describing than how it’s been related to the city of Liverpool and their demonym of Scouse.

In Stoke it’s known as Lobby, or a Staffordshire Beef Lobby.

But only in dipperpool is it made with rats!

Just read that link and the sun says the youngster “impressed” has settled in and showed a glimpse of his talent. Well, I watched that match and can categorically say he was fucking dog shit, he gave the ball away so many times and couldn’t beat a fucking egg.

True professional really. Great example to younger players. Calm as hell from the spot. Liverpool would be foolish not to agree a new contract. I'd be happy with it anyway.
