As much as I dislike the Dippers, I have to say I agree with Klopp about the ridiculous fixture congestion. Having to play two games in two days on two different continents is nothing short of stupid.

Something has to give. Either we reduce the size of the premier league and thereby the number of games, get rid of one if the domestic cups or rework the champions league. At the moment every match-up is home and away. Is that strictly necessary in a cup competition ? Maybe get rid of the “made fir TV” competitions like the World club championship.

I don’t pretend to have the answers but this can’t continue.

League cup should be revamped. Something like only 2-3 players over 21 could be in the match day squad or something like that.

I never said that. It's the line the company decided to take.
it would have all been forgotten in hours, what he said had nothing to do with his employers or his ability to be a plumber. it was his own opinion on his own twitter account and the fact is he was hunted down and hounded by people for that. you wouldn't have a fan in a job if others did the same.

TBF, Klopp, the players and the Littlewoods fans were all gutted when they lost the Community Shield.

Or was that only because City beat them? ;-)

So get him sacked, seems fair
Even the preachers of hate seem to hide behind the freedom of speech on social media but this guy has now lost his livelihood because of one brain fart of a tweet.

Hell hath no fury as an offended dipper :)

They were upset because they were beaten ( despite having the best player in the world in every position in their team ) .................................and had no other fuckers but themselves to blame !

Klopp moaning because they play 12 games between 23 November and 2 January.

Well we play 11 times during that period
Also we were still in 3 comps till 8th APRIL last season, winning 4 pots,we played loads more them then but no-one cares about that, tweet it out for me would someone please,we suited playing, resting playing,it's better to keep ticking over unless you are not confident in your own ability as a manager in which case woman and play the victim, they threw the cups last season and went away for 2 warm weather breaks and came back and drew games which cost them the title, this lot whinge more than me which is saying something

I don't think that the sponsors of the competition would be too happy if that was to happen, nor would the FA, who wold lose vast amounts of revenue. Would you, as an organisation trying to make every last penny out of the "product", want to try and market that to a world - wide market? And, more importantly, would you fork out your hard earned money to go and watch what is, in effect, a youth team match 200 miles away from home?
I wouldn't.

I wouldn't.

Some form of tiered levelling would be great.....

league 1 or lower - full team involved
Championship - no more than 10 first team squad members allowed in line up
bottom half of PL year previous (plus promoted) - no more than 8
Remaining PL teams - no more than 6
Champions league - 4 players from PL squad

but to the point above; sponsors would never go for it
