I’ve a funny feeling they could struggle this season,we are the team everyone will be looking to beat, but I’ve a feeling the scousers could find themselves under the cosh in a fair few games, just can’t put my finger on it but just get that feeling, unless of course they are helped out by the refs and var...
You’ve given away the ending, and I was so looking forward to watching this!

At least put a Spoiler quote in next time!

I don't understand why Shankly is so revered by the dipshits.

Domestically he won only 3 Division One titles in 10 years and the FA Cup twice in 10 years - that's 5 trophies (excluding Charity Shield) out of a possible 30 trophies in 10 years.

Domestically, Pep has won 5 trophies (excluding Charity Shied) out of a possible 9 in THREE years.

You do the Math(s).

where to start with that article?
Are they the only club with working class roots? Yes
Are they the only club to have had a manager from a working class background who espoused socialist values? Yes
Are they the only club from a city built on significant levels of migration? Yes
Are they the only club from a city which suffered economic damage under Thatcher?Yes

Shankly became manager of LIverpool in 1959 shortly after they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Worcester City. The Moores family had just pitched up with their Littlewoods Pools millions and it took another three years of throwing money at the problem of getting an underperforming 2nd division club promoted. They began their player buying spree including, still as a 2nd division club, paying the 2nd highest ever British transfer fee for Ian St John. They continued to buy up players but it still took a bit of time to start winning titles and cups. So don't ever let a dipper tell you that Liverpool achieved success 'the right way' with their own money because that is just a steaming pile. The Moores family weren't even the dippers' first sugar daddies either.

Cant see them getting to the next level with firmino as there main striker and if they finish outside the top 4 there top players mane and salah will look to leave.

Would love to see them out of the top four but don't think it will happen, would need Arsenal, Chelsea and the Rags to be a lot better than they are to put pressure on them, or an outsider. I do think they will struggle to stay close to us this season though and although they weren't champions they will have that second season slump.

Yep, Some scousers seem to think Klopps better than all their past managers , now how many domestic trophies has he won?

It really is entirely too easy to wind up Dippers on Twitter.

Not only on twitter but also face to face. I do it in the workplace especially when they try and have a dig about ourselves (empty seats, oil money etc) the look on their faces when you hit them with actual facts about their club is hilarious and it shuts them up straight away.

I laugh knowing that they are fuming when i walk away....they claim to be intelligent ? They are far from it. Amazing for a breed of people that snub the Sun newspaper actually spout shite that could be written for it

It seems they booed the national anthem as they felt that Liverpool was badly treated by the elitist establishment when they were suffering to achieve what others could with better finances......

Meanwhile lording it over Citeh for not being part of the elitist establishment.

YCMIU !
What pisses me off is that it's been totally ignored by the media. If we had done that it would be on every front page of the papers asking for us all to be tried for treason and imprisoned in the tower of London so we could be hung drawn and quartered!!!!

What you like at left back ?
Prior to trashing my left knee (when a Bury youth took out my LCL at the age of 14 while I was overlapping and ending my football carear), I was a right back so sorry I can't help.
My coach always said "Never, ever, ever let the winger cut inside." It makes me wonder what happened to this sound advice.

Is that because Liverpool is not in England but is its own country?

Liverpool has already gone through brexit and has also broke away from UK. Similar to Vatican City don't you know.
A bit like Mexican border....perhaps now is a good time to build a wall around keeping them in.
