If we get past Man City, we will put Liverpool in their place, preferably Ramos scoring at a anfield, shushing the crowd and knocking them out. If you win however, then you can swap Ramos in that scenario with sterling. This is needed for the great good lol x, they didn’t learn their lesson in Kiev

We might of not won the league this time around if it went to the wire but we are lot closer to them lot than the table states.

You ain’t getting past us, it’s our year

I thought it was generous at the time, without going back and watching the game I can’t give specifics. Ederson made a point blank save near the end against united which he didn’t know much about and could easily have gone in. Didn’t include it in my three because it was still a brave stop, but either side and it was a goal. Your points about last season are all fair, but we weren't discussing last season. We were comparing our run in 2017/18 with theirs this season, where whilst I’ve acknowledged they’ve had some iffy decisions, their run has been down to far more than that imo.
I was talking about over this two season period, sorry for the mix up.

They were 2 points off it last season, i'd say they have competed with our best and now they have overtaken us. Even with Laporte in the side of don't see our team winning them games we lost tbh.

do you honestly believe if we could have played our strongest 11/14 players every game for the last 18months the dippers are a better than us ? the dippers style of play suits them 100% but the luck they are having without any real injuries and benefiting from VAR more than others. I believe if it was an even playing field we would be a fair few point clear of them, but that's not what the powers at be want.

but to some the game isn't bent !

to be honest they aren't the same the Leicester player play tries to move his arm away as he see's the ball late. the dipper moves his arm towards the ball

just posted that picture on another forum I use not really a sport forum but it has dippers on it ….I look forward to getting shed loads of abuse from them lol

If we win tonight we go 2nd??? back to back and 2nd in the league is a great achievement, the domestic treble/ quadruple will in my opinion never be beaten we have come a long way just be gracious sometimes. They have been better even taking var into consideration this season, should be a great incentive for our club to take this challenge on next season. Anyone who thinks we have deserved to win the league this year are deluded
Yet somebody on here said that Pep has to earn a contract extension!

They would still be infront and I honestly believe that, peps style of football is very intense and there will be a season or so where the players can't cope and slack off. Once he brings in some fresh faces we will be good to go again ,which is why I think we will be a cup team this season and do very well in them.

No more of a handball than the one we didn't get at Klanfield from the same referee.

Take into account last nights incident: His arm was in a natural position and he was attempting to move it away from the path of the ball. Then look at the one we didn't get and you will see the EXACT OPPOSITE.
Agree about the on at klanfield but he wasn’t trying to move away from the ball last night. He leaned into it from what I can see

If you peruse recent media match reports , the general consensus is that the Dippers were brilliant whilst beating Leicester but Leicester were a "disappointment" when we beat them at the Etihad a few days previously. Just imagine how the media must wind the Rags up though , they have despised the Dippers for decades and any praise given to the Klopp and company must really be hurting them, in comparison we are wet behind the ears ,ive only despised them since the totally disrespectful coach attack.
Yes. I survived ‘99 and I was 18, full of piss and vinegar and I hated those rag twats more than I will ever have any feeling for Liverpool. This season will come and go and they’ll have their sycophantic media Bumming them but it will be gone in July When the euros start and as you say this will hurt the rags way more than us so there’s always that.

Just going off tangent slightly but did anyone else notice Andy Robertson getting skinned alive by one of the Leicester players. Think it was in the first half.

It’s good to see a bit of recognition amongst you of what this Liverpool team is achieving. I know not only myself & mates but also loads of match going reds were in awe of Man City last season & the centurion season. The team you have there really is a machine. The way they play with attacking flair is a joy to watch which is why we’re taking nothing for granted now.
The shouts of conspiracies & help from officials however makes you come across as .... well,.....small team mentality. If you can’t enjoy boss footy in any shape or form you’re missing the point.

How old are you ? Boss football, Ffs !

Nat Phillips recalled from his loan spell in Germany (2nd Division). With Lovren, Matip and Fabinho injured, Phillips will provide backup. Klopp wants to keep squad positions open for Ki-Jana Hoever and Sep Van Den Berg and is reluctant to strengthen with a senior player just to fill a temporary void.

So one injury to Gomez or VVD and things will become very "interesting".

VVD is very good but he’s not what makes Liverpool tick. Injuries to your fullbacks would be catastrophic for the way you play. I also believe and saw it last night that Robertson makes VVD look better, his ability/pace to recover and make last ditch blocks and clearances is ignored because of his contribution going forward. VVD isn’t that vital imho

What's your explanation for the fact that you have had more favourable decisions and the fact that the Christmas schedule benefits Liverpool by far? Pure coincidence? Thanks.
