It is worth noting that VD looked probably the worst player on the pitch last night, and he hasn’t looked that great for a few matches.

Nor have a few others.

Klopp’s system and lack of rotation *may* finally be catching up with them.

Now, that won’t make any difference in the league because they won’t be allowed to fall off now — there are records to be broken, after all.

But it could mean a considerable drop in the knockout competitions.

We shall see soon enough.

How the shit did Napoli and Atletico Madrid manage to do what 19 TEAMS, City included, have failed to do all season?

Klopp playing the bus bricking pyro party card after being beaten by Athletic. Easy to be nice when you're winning. The true test is how you take defeat. So lets resort to calling them cheats , insult the manager for playing to the crowd (Really?) and deflect from a poor performance

Klopp isn't a nice guy he's portrayed as a nice guy by the media, as you say he's got a lot of sour grapes and they will be evident more and more as the season goes on.

Away in Europe without the protection of PiGMOB they are fucking less than ordinary.
It's like the Leicester title winning season mate, they weren't particularly that good, just the rest were bloody awful. This season is exactly the same , Liverpool highly effective but not amazing football, the rest very very ordinary.

I heard soundbites on the radio this morning about Klopp calling for a Anfield welcome and all that shit, is that not inciting violence amongst the feral scum? How the fuck can a club manager call for shit like given what happened last time they arranged an Anfield welcome. The fuckers are beyond shame, best hope Atletico bring some of their own police with them to protect the coach.

To be honest, I would expect the same from any home manager - calling on the crowd for support, I don't think that's necessarily anything new.... It's good for football to have a passionate crowd, as long as they don't overstep the mark.

Especially after what happened to that poor fucker who got put in wheelchair, you say shit like this and ultras take note.

Shock as well drilled, structured, defensively sound team overcomes one of the most one dimensional teams in the world. Unfortunately 1 goal is unlikely to be enough as the power of the kop sucks in that 99th min strike from Milner after a tackle from Costa on the half way line is mistakenly given as a penalty.

it's reported as Anfield is something special (yawn) - a load of plastics singing that morose shite at the start does not constitute a great atmosphere - despite what their friends in the media will tell you.

I've no doubt that the fair-minded gentlemanly Klippity meant for the welcome to be vociferous and confined to Analdefiled but it will be picked up by the same arses who lined the route for our game! I think Atletico might respond differently than we did. I should imagine they would tell the driver to reverse and return to their hotel! And, of course, Uefa will look favourably upon their predicament and award them the tie!

It's been mentioned on here about Liverpool failing FFP in 2013 or 2014. Does anyone have a link to this? And does any one have info on the "dodgy" deal to redevelop Anfield and the funding for that, that helped them pass FFP? Thanks
