Mate, you'd have never had a penalty the Anfield game That wasn't VAR. That was the new handball rules. At worst the first goal gets chalked off and play comes back for a freekick to ourselves for the handball leading to it. If you want to argue the rules ridiculous on the removal of 'accidental' handball for the attacking side to gain an advantage sound. I'd be in total agreement. But that wasn't down to VAR.

We could go through all our games and all City's games and pick out certain instances we don't agree with. (The Leicester penalty and Mo's goal are all subjective with no definitive black and white answer.). You can do that with any side through the league.

The whole system is F for EVERY team. Some times you get F over. Sometimes you don't and you benefit. That's the whole point if you don't come at with an agenda against one club.
Some decisions are that close its impossible for VAR to give a clear and decisive decision Liverpool have had the rub of the green on some of the decisions and some of the decisions have gone against us. The problem is we have been so much better than everyone else this season some opposition supporters are conjuring up conspiracy theries instead of giving klopp and the team the credit they deserve especially after going so close last year.

If anyone had any doubt, it was clear to see in our first home game.

There’s no other explanation for Michael fucking Oliver not giving a penalty for the "assault" on Rodri and awarding a free-kick against Bernardo, when the Spud jumped into him.
If only our billionaire owner was from the USA we'd win it every year!

Was it Oliver again in November who shit out giving a penalty in front of the Kop? With our look with penalties Aguero would have probably fluffed it.

In a sport with so much money sloshing around where all PL players are now multi millionaires the only people on the pitch with a normal persons wage are the ref and his assistants. Don't you think they can be persuaded somehow to favour one team over another? Even if they fail to follow instructions and make a mistake then they have a backup system in place called VAR!

of course it was. Quite happy to quickly give the rags a penalty on VAR at our place and turn all our appeals down. Funnily enough not reffed us in the league since, job done. Funnily enough that coming after our "formal complaint".

That's another inherent problem with how it's been implemented here. The same ref who may have F up on the Sunday, could well then be down Heathrow watching the VAR on the Monday.

Even if they are honestly making mistakes and all above board, the very fact that it opens them up to natural accusations of collusion and watching each other's backs makes it even madder that they wouldn't have trained independent assessors up to do the job.

You'd like to think they'd have spent the lockdown break having a complete review of the whole F up process and would be coming back with the necessary amendments but that's probably WAY too much to hope for.

Sad is it is, my big hope is something like someone going down off a shockingly bad VAR decision that brings a legal case and they end up sacking it off. Because they aren't binning it any other way.

It's ridiculous, as you found out against Tottenham and we suffered from at Utd.Two goals that should have stood but now don't to a mad rule change. But those are the rules and that wasn't down to VAR.

Better team going to win the league no doubt but by 8/10 points max!

Our first game the wining goal was disallowed for nothing and that started the trend that got Liverpool the start they wanted. If you’re a team thinking you going to get stitched up every game it will effect you! Likewise if your the Liverpool team knowing you going to get treated just Fairly in a game it’s and advantage. We city fans watch all games and see the way we get refereed, if we just get one referees us fairly we can’t believe it. But other fans don’t see that they only watch a few games of ours.

Your response will be all supporters think this yep agree but you have had to watch every city game to see the trend and the cheating by referees maybe it’s the consistent negativity in the media that effect the referees? Or someone like Neville setting the narrative live on tv about tactical fouling then all we hear is oh there tactical foul when every team does it without one comment of tactical foul.
