I was mot avoiding answering your question but I can't sit in front of a computer all day I had other things to do. Regarding why Liverpool asked for paper tickets I have no idea you really didn't expect me to know the answer to that did you. Ask them

As if they would tell the truth .

the club and the fans share the same dna - liars and cheats

It was the blockchain that did it.

At last, somebody who isn't affraid to say the truth.

A ticket industry expert has told The Connexion that Liverpool fans’ preference for printed tickets is likely to be at the root of the “industrial scale” fraud which caused chaos at the Champions League final at the Stade de France on Saturday May 28 .

He said Liverpool’s preference for printed - rather than digital - tickets made it so much easier for fakes to be made for the Champions League final

Mr Aubin said buying a sporting ticket event in a paper format was much more common in the UK than in France where digital QR-codes are often used instead.

He added that Liverpool had asked UEFA to produce the 20,000 tickets in paper format since the club was not technically able to handle the blockchain technology used by the UEFA for that event.

While the blockchain-technology guarantees against attempts at fraud through a complex technological system, the production of several thousand paper tickets opens the door to greater risks for black market sales, said Mr Aubin.

1. Fake tickets: Perhaps you’ve been in this situation: You bought tickets to your favorite show, which is coming to town. The entire family is excited. The day has arrived, you park your car, and, while walking to the venue, you look at the big smile on the face of your kids. You arrive at the entrance, show your tickets, and you are told that, unfortunately, they are fake. This has happened to many people. Mobile blockchain ticketing can help prevent this in the future. Each ticket going through the blockchain receives its own “identity,” and if consumers want to resell or transfer the ticket, they need to go again through the blockchain.

Weirdly this doesn't add up :)

The Successful Implementation of Blockchain Mobile Ticketing

In the space of just four days, SecuTix Solutions and UEFA have successfully delivered both the UEFA Europa League Final in Gdańsk and the UEFA Champions League Final in Porto, the latter being the highest attended European football match since the outbreak of the pandemic.

Look I am not an idiot who thinks Liverpool fans never did anything wrong at any time in the past . Nor will I say they will never do anything wrong at any time in the future. Are you telling me that all City fans ar angels? Of course not We all have our dickheads and I wouldn't deny Liverpool have their share of them but the overwhelming evidence is that EUFA and the French police fucked up big time . Why it's so difficult to admit that is beyond me
You are correct. We all have good and bad apples. I know plenty of decent Liverpool fans and unlike many others on here I genuinely like scousers.

I think the core issue is the way that many Liverpool fans tediously pontificate, like no other supporters in sport, about their club, and its supporters, and how special and unique they both are. ‘This means more’ being the very embodiment of that.

That’s what puts people backs up, especially against the backdrop of a…errr…less than exemplary behavioural record.

Not saying you’re all like thst, because I know from personal experience you aren’t, but you have far more gobshites than any other club.

In fact, it’s not even close.

Death threats incoming.

Every club has its idiot fans.

But Liverpool have by far a higher percentage of cretins than any other club.

It’s a hard home truth to accept for some of you, I know.

It’s like trying to explain to someone who’s been caught up in Scientology that they’re a member of a creepy cult. They just don’t see it from the inside.

Still waiting.

I'll ask you this question again.

'Why did Liverpool Football Club insist on paper tickets instead of digital tickets?'

This is a very important question and needs answering correctly not just some weak excuses from LFC.

The statium uses electronic tickets. RM used electronic tickets.
The only set of fans that had fake tickets were LFC. Lfc wanted paper tickets leaving their fans open to fake tickets. WHY ?

To me something seems dodge, perhaps there isnt anything dodge but with a club that hacks our computer systems. Lfc have history.

Klopp asking for 1000's of non ticket fans to attend Paris. He has to take some of the blame.

Lfc fans are well known for jibbing in.

The press/media have done a brilliant job of covering LFC and fans arses again. A bloody disgrace by the press/media.
They are using the problems with the area and local gangs to divert attention away from LFC and fans.

I saw that mark lawrenson video about Hysel. He went up in my eyes. Bet he burnt a few bridges with the dippers over that.
