100 million on a player that keeps them standing still is okay with me. Losing their best striker in Mane is a blow. At best, if he hits the ground running and proves a hit they won't miss him. They're £60 million down for a younger but inferior player meanwhile we make
£4 million profit and swap Torres for Haaland.

They've got gaps they need to plug elsewhere, midfield in particular, can't see their owners letting them spend much more this summer. Dividends need paying before signings.
