And you insult me as prick - that is not better. And you did it with intention.

I did not see the expression "Oil club" as an insult as it is widely used for your club. So if you see it as an insult it was not intended by me.

But with using the expression I just tried to explain why the conception of Liverpool - so a billionaire sponsored club, too - is different to that of City or Chelsea.
Explain what an oil club is and how it’s not derogatory or condescending.

Oil club when described by other fans means this.
They are jealous.
They are bitter.
They don't like anybody being above them.
We live rent free in their heads.

I'd just drop the mardarse out mate and put him on ignore, any cocky shit wants to come on here and call us an oil club isn't here for pleasantries.

It is an insult and derogatory term used constantly by those that are ignorant. City is a self sustaining business and has been for years.
thought you were better than that mate.

It is just an insult when it is meant to be one - even if I did not expect your reaction when I used the expression that is wildly used here for it. But I would have had problems to find an expression for the difference as e.g. both clubs are owned by billionaires. Somehow that is not really seen by e.g. the usual Germans - for them Liverpool is a fine club even if there is so much adversity against the owner concept in German football.

Does not really matter as they do not sponsor us more than the other clubs they sponsor.

And just think about that - you and 14 others that are not related to you each have a share at a company - would you pay more than the other 14 if at the end you will get as much out as the other ones?

Naah, you said the three companies weren't related parties (the point being, related to Bayern not each other). Sponsorship from a shareholder is a related party transaction.

If what you are talking about is fair value for the sponsorship, then that is a different point, which afaik hadn't been raised.

Oil club.
Whatever.
Atleast we've never killed anyone

Man Utd are owned by billionaires, so are Leicester, so are Liverpool. Are they Oil clubs? Liverpool a fine club? By what definition? Certainly not the behaviour of their fans or their own business ethics.
If the oil term is widely used by fans in Germany then I’m sorry. Those fans are ignorant and insulting. No doubt you will put them straight when you hear it next.

The current? Hainer, Kahn, Salihamidzic, Dreesen etc.

What does it have to do with Germans talking about Oil clubs? There is no relation behind that.

And if you want to talk about the private stories of Hoeneß or Rummenigge - and it is private stories that do not have much to do with what they have done for Bayern - they actually aren't in the executive of Bayern anymore.
Why do you not prefix other clubs with one of the sources of their owner(s) income? Genuinely curious, as currently I can only offer racial undertones as an explanation, whether intentional or not.
