I'm not sure why posters keep saying Klopp will be accepted/proven to be a good manager if he rebuilds.
Surely a great manager continually improves his squad, making one or two additions each season plus bringing in youngsters. Continually playing the sane 15 until they are old and knackered is not a great manager.

That's on the board. Klopp has been at Liverpool for more than 6 years and their fans are still happy with him. Curtis Jones and Elliot (even with his injury) has had more PL appearances than Palmer/McAtee/Delap. He is a great manager just a level below Pep.

You think Pep buys his players out of his own pocket?

The question as to whether this is Liverpool's last season as title contenders depends on how long Salah stays at his peak. I think in 2-3 years Liverpool fans are going to look back on this period with some anger. A good number of their fans have made a virtue out of sustainability and low transfer spend as if this is ethically superior to Manchester City's path. It isn't and ultimately it may come to be seen as a false economy.

The ageing process is relentless but when do Liverpool or more pertinently when does Salah peak? His game is so much based on pace that I can not see him going on at this level far into his 30s. Clearly their board are aware of this so they are reluctant to commit to one last big contract because they know that in the lifetime of his next contract his game will decline.

Short of LFC winning the Premier League, or Champions League, all City fans have to do is sit this one out and wait. And last time they won the Premier League and Champions League, their owners decided to pocket the money anyway. Their mini-era is coming to an end. It's going to kill their fan base when they experience being third rate again after tasting glory.

He is good but the point is he is not planning for life after Salah and Co.

This will be the Dippers last title challenge , if you can call it that , they have an ageing team with at least eight of their mainstay players approaching their 30's , it all depends it Clubshop has the stomach to re-build another team and if their bloodsucking Yank owners will throw him a few quid to buy players. Dotn expect either of these to happen and Klippety will buggering off when he realises catching our lcub is becoming a thankless task.
Would like to thank clubshop for at least keeping us on our toes for the last few seasons , but there has to be a limit on how many times you can polish a turd.

Salah has another 2 full seasons at his peak jota looks quality Trent and Robinson are young who contribute so much think they get a couple of top quality midfielders they’ll be pushing us for the next two seasons.
