I doubt it will be for stupid money with only one year left.

Much as it pains ne to say it, he's one of the best in the world atm. Id rather he stayed another year and got off on a free than PSG pay £100m+ and give them money to reinvest.

Certainly appears that the dippers stalled out Fulham past the deadline on purpose. Now they can sign Carvalho for free and still get him next summer.
I think it was the other way around. Fulham decided for the monies offered it just wasn't worth their while.

if I was the player I'd stick with Fulham if they get promoted. Liverpool have loads of wide forwards. He'd struggle to start in their side however good he is

They only bid for Diaz it seems because Spurs were close, and now they try and take a player from Fulham because they see the chance to get a good player for less than market value. This is not the way to build a squad. That's the Daniel Levy philosophy of the transfer market. Rather ironic as he is reported to be upset with LFC.

I’ve never subscribed to this Daniel Levy is a great negotiator stuff, and I’d come to that conclusion long before the Kane deal never materialised.

A good negotiator yields when they need to. A good negotiator knows when to take the money and run. A good negotiator accepts there has to be something in it for the other guy.

Any **** can dig their heels in, and doubtless on occasions it works, but if you’ve only got one gear, then you are bound to come unstuck eventually.

The bbc HYS in this and their transfers is a bizarre back slapping inward looking series of self congratulations on building the next generation whilst simultaneously slagging us off appallingly
It’s weird.
Yes I read that too.
Claiming to be the very best club at transfers which is a weird claim with one title in 30 years.

Correct. And a good negotiator takes account of knock on effects in a specialised market. How will my stance look to the players? Will players be reluctant to come here as a result of my negotiating rep? etc etc.
