Sorry but this comment makes absolutely zero sense on any level.

Amazon have not agreed any rights deal with Sky. Amazon bought a package from the PL. Sky bought several from the PL.

There is no deal between Sky and Amazon.

Secondly, it’s not up to Sky (or the PL) if Bezos buys Liverpool. It was the department of Trade and Industry that stopped Murdoch buying United.
While I agree with your post, I wonder whether Bezos, in the unlikely event he tabled a bid for the scouse cult, would fall foul of the PL's 'fit and proper' test on the grounds that his ownership of Amazon - a streaming platform which derives income from screening PL games - represents a conflict of interest.

Wonder if this has leaked out and theyve been forced to release a statement. You would guess FSG would want to get Saturday’s game over with before going public, then maybe concluding a sale whilst the WC is on. Either way it’s a kick in the teeth for them lot, especially when they have jumped through hoops to defend FSGs nasty business practices. If they really were in it for the long haul they’d have built a new stadium. In reality it’s been pump the share and dump it.

Who would want to buy a club with a core base of protesting feral fans. Would these said fans and their media fan boys support a takeover by a middle eastern club, too fecking right they would. Hypocrisy is the headline.
