Even today, as you mention, there is a hell of a lot anti-Emirati and anti-Arab language and attitudes that come from the Liverpool fanbase. However, since 90% of Liverpool’s fanbase aren’t Scouse, it would be difficult today whether that is coming from Liverpudlian Liverpool fans or the wider fanbase.
Strange how the anti Emirati/Arab language has changed over the past few weeks. Now they are a great bunch of lads who are more than welcome to invest their money into liVARpool.

I remember a few years ago a report came out claiming that islamaphobic crimes were down by 15% in liverpool mainly on the basis that their star forward was muslim. Makes you think will it be business as usual when he leaves
Chelsea have had loads of great black players but it hasn’t stopped their fans from being racist arseholes. And there’s a surprising amount of racist and Islamophobic Liverpool fans out there, not to mention conspiracy theorist loons. Not that our lot are much better, graffitiing ‘Paki’ on a mural of Salah when he’s not even Asian.

If Liverpool get an Arab sugar daddy, their fans will change their tune about oil clubs very quickly.

Everton are a better proposition for investment, especially if they do get relegated.
Ship out the underperformers, cut the wage bill and a brand new stadium being built.
What's not to like?

Yeah - best example of that I had noticed was the bald Irish dildo on YT did a 15 minute diatribe on how much he hated City - no 'istree - plastic fans ( from his studio in Dublin where he does watch alongs on matchdays lol ) and sin of sins owned by a despicable state. He hated the thought of being owned by a state.

two months later Qatar are mooching around the dippers and he was a joy to behold in his contortions to see how he justified Qatari ownership - how it wasn't a state but simply an investment arm that was looking to buy anyway - just one example of how they adapt their views to fit into the modern world of football whether you like it or not.

But wouldn't that suggest hypocrisy on their part ?

Whatever else they are, I can't believe they are hypocrites .

Daft Twit has had a watch tatooed on his arm.
At least it will be correct for 2 minutes a day (out of a total of 1440 minutes per day)
Similar to his scoring ratio then 2 goals every 1440 games lol!

Totally agree mate, why buy Liverpool for £5 billion or buy Everton for half that and watch it grow into a genuine title contender, large fanbase, new stadium, it makes me laugh that scouse and rag fans are using it as a dick measuring competition in who's club is valued the most-its there silly valuations that could well put potential suitors off.

Same as happened to us would be fantastic, them and Newcastle pushing out the dippers and rags

I just can't stand the hypocrisy within some of our fans, it's mostly rampant within our local fans in general. You can't claim that you are a "Socialist" club then cheer for the most capitalist American vultures out there. Our Owners made donations to Donald Fucking Trump ffs. Plus this mentality of I'm a local fan, I go to the games therefore I'm more fan that you are and you need to shut the fuck up.
There are probably more Tories inside Anfield every home game than the majority of clubs bearing in mind they draw their support from all around the country and there are more Tories than socialists in blighty, you'd believe everyone inside Klanfield is to the left of Karl Marx from what they tell everybody.
