If anyone ever asks me to define what supercilious means, I’ll just point them to this.
These cunts need to give their head a wobble.

They are selling £30 jumpers and £10 t shirts in their store and are pretending like they are some fucking moral social warrior activists. Cause a £30 jumper is totally going to be made locally in the UK right and not in some sweatshop in China for less than £1 a day ? Pure hypocrisy in display man and it's making me want to give up on football together if the FSG stays.

To be honest, I'm still not sure who that joint statement is aimed at. Plenty of people - including many Liverpool fans going off that Twitter feed - seem to think it's an attack on potential buyers from the Arab world. That might well be the case but from the perspective of United fans - moreso than Liverpool fans - I'd guess they would be keen to avoid another Glazer-style ownership model. And Liverpool fans certainly wouldn't want another Hicks and Gillett scenario. Last time I looked the Glazers and H&G were American and not Arab.

The statement doesn't mention Arabs, Americans, or any other group of people so I'd say it's possible they're just putting it out there that they don't want to be bought out by some dodgy fucker, regardless of creed or colour, plus I think they're campaigning for more fan involvement in the running of football clubs.

I would add that if it is indeed aimed at people from a particular part of the world then that is disgraceful and racist as fuck.

Our fans are mad because United are going to be okay regardless since they are likely being bought by Jim Ratcliffe who's also dodgy asf but apparently no one is calling him out for some reason ??? but us we going to be stuck with the FSG

Do these pro FSG seriously think that players like Salah, Alisson, VVD, Trent, Roberston are going to stick around without champions league football ? Salah will end up at PSG, Alisson/VVD likely in Spain and Trent/Robertson in some other English team either Newcastle or Arsenal.

Just as many so-called Christians pick out the bits of the Bible that appeal to them and ignore the rest, so do most socialists pick the bits of socialism that appeal to them and ignore the rest.

To be perfectly honest, I do not see how a top PL club can conceivably be 'socialist'. It's like being a 'Christian' and running a brothel and casino. You can call it a Christian Brothel and Casino, but by definition, it isn't.

A socialist football club, if such a thing could exist, would be entirely community-based. It would not seek profit, and it would certainly not have players on millions a year. Or managers/directors for that matter. You might, I suppose, run that model in League Two, but even there it would be a bit of a stretch.

The manager would sit on a golden chair in the dugout with his assistant holding a sniper rifle, while the players and fans starved to death, clapping cheerfully about how great everything is.

I think you are making the increasingly common error of failing to distinguish between democratic socialism and autocratic communism.

If you can't see the difference between living in Sweden and living in North Korea, I can't help you. However, the systems are quite different. Rather in the same way that our system of capitalism is rather removed from that operated in Pinochet's Chile, or indeed in the USA, thank God.

That would be nice :-)

I'd take Robertson, a little snide bastard but a great LB...he's just what we need.
