You're the one that's confused if you think I am an atheist. What a bizarre thing to draw from anything I have ever said on Blue Moon.

As an aside, here's a bit of Scripture:

Acts 4:32
The multitude of believers was one in heart and soul. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they owned.
FFS there's a different thread for the God Squad lunatics. Don't go preaching scriptures to folk on a football thread

I never preach old chap. Not on religion, not my style at all. But I was answering a point, amounting to near slander. I will not say any more on the subject unless I get accused of atheism again.

Fair do’s. I was brought up catholic hence the atheism now ;)
Anyway, back to these bloody scousers…..

Just as many so-called Christians pick out the bits of the Bible that appeal to them and ignore the rest, so do most socialists pick the bits of socialism that appeal to them and ignore the rest.

To be perfectly honest, I do not see how a top PL club can conceivably be 'socialist'. It's like being a 'Christian' and running a brothel and casino. You can call it a Christian Brothel and Casino, but by definition, it isn't.

A socialist football club, if such a thing could exist, would be entirely community-based. It would not seek profit, and it would certainly not have players on millions a year. Or managers/directors for that matter. You might, I suppose, run that model in League Two, but even there it would be a bit of a stretch.

As long as you go to confession on a Sunday it’s perfectly ok.

Do you think they will be mass protests if Qatar buys Liverpool or people are just going to forget about it the moment they sign players ?
