Regardless of how much I hate their club it won't make me automatically disagree with absolutely everything they or their fans do. Doing so would demonstrate extreme partisan behaviour and in some ways back up the thought process of messrs (wankrs) Harris and Delaney, no?

Look, I can't stand Liverpool FC and when it comes to anything football, I can't stand their fans either. When speaking purely outside of football however, it'd be either stubborn or stupid of me to suggest that I don't share *some* values. Please, don't let football hold you back from standing up to your own roots or values.

Anyways, after today certain players should never be selected for England again and Henderson comes out of it looking decent unlike the rest of their stadium. Typical of them really.

Are fans ok to boo Hillsborough and Munich events now as well the because they don’t agree with them?

Or should those not in favour show a bit of self respect, keep quiet and allow those who do want to join in the opportunity without it being spoilt?

It’s wrong if it prevents those that do want to respect it from respecting it. Then it’s just mob rule, not voicing discontent.

I Wonder if the same people getting all worked up and frothing at the mouth over the booing of the anthem, feel as strongly about our Prince being an actual paedophille rapist and our tax ££ being used by our queen to make it go away. A family of wealth and power who are above the common man and woman when it comes to the law.

I wouldnt personally boo the anthem but im not arsed in the slightest by people who do.

It’s more about them being judge & jury of how to respect them. I’m not a royalist, many aren’t but they have no right to judge anyone on moral conduct.

The illusion of truth effect is so strong with that club, they genuinely believe that Liverpool has been treated worse than anywhere else in the UK and that they are different. On the post match comments section on the BBC site a cult fan said if we don’t like the booing we could turn the volume down.
My reply that he could do the same with the always the victim song lasted 10 seconds before being moderated off!

Great achievement lasting 10 seconds, nothing I wrote got published. The things I read about City that don’t get moderated, incredible.

If they want to disrespect it, that's also ok. Nothing wrong with voicing discontent. Deaths etc a completely different occasion.

People have loved ones who have given their lives for their country, the anthem means a lot to many different people.
