For fuck's sake Braveheart, it's not through fear, it's about HAVING RESPECT FOR OTHER PEOPLE'S OPINIONS AND BELIEFS.Wrong. Hibs fans held banners dissenting the whole event. Motherwell and Kilmarnock fans joined in "shove your coronation up your arse". Not just dipperland at all, I'm dismayed that so many people in other places didn't feel brave enough to voice dissent about it when they had the chance. People doing what they're told in fear of being piled on for not obeying their masters.
How can't you see this?
Recently, a member of my extended family died. He hated me. His direct family hated me. To be perfectly honest I didn't have a great deal of respect for any of them as a result of how they had treated me in my adult life. Despite all this hatred, I was invited to the funeral.
Did I go and cause a scene?
No, I didn't.
I respectfully declined the invitation and got on with my day so as not to cause offence to them ON THEIR DAY.
Now, I know you'll trot out some, "that's different, somebody had died" bollocks, but it's not.
It's about having respect for other people and what they might want.
Did the scousers respect what the Brentford fans might have wanted? No they fucking didn't, they made it all about what they wanted. As fucking usual.
