I think he's being very kind there, personally I take the view that everyone is insane, whether they agree with me or not. Apart from me of course.
Disrespectful motherfucker.

The usual alternatives to GTSK for just England are Land of Hope and Glory or Jerusalem. Whether everyone would get behind them is another question. I’m sure some people would object to whatever is chosen. The point I'm making is that Arnold wasn't,Henderson was, they are both part of the England set up,and it is the national anthem, which is sang when on duty.
Yesterday was an historic day, that rightly or wrongly should be adhered to especially if you are British.
If flower of Scotland was being played it would have been belted out,so I'm not taking any history lessons from any Scotch on here neither,(not that you are Scotch).
But this song you speak about that we all should be able to get behind, what are your suggestions ?
Timmy Malletts -Yellow polka dot bikini or somert like that ?
You literally just have.I remained seated yesterday as the anthem was being played for something I do not want the country to be, this is 2023 and to still have a monarchy with people kowtowing to someone who is in a position by accident of birth is ridiculous. To then spend >£250m to suit the vanity of this man when, one in four children are living in poverty, people are sleeping on the streets and some have to choose between eat and heat is frankly disgusting. This isn't the tread to discuss the rights and wrongs of a monarchy / republic so I wont However, I have every sympathy of anyone who chooses to peacefully protest and if they want to boo then they have every right, sometimes a protest will offend someone but that's been the case through history.
It’s a fair point but I wonder how many of the crowd at Anfield were booing it in protest at the monarchy or were just doing a “look at us and how edgy we are”.I remained seated yesterday as the anthem was being played for something I do not want the country to be, this is 2023 and to still have a monarchy with people kowtowing to someone who is in a position by accident of birth is ridiculous. Yeah, I bet they all got accounts at ancestry.com, and sent saliva samples to get their DNA profiles.Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s down to the Irish connection. Either the descendants or the day trippers. We all know they hate the monarchy and we’re overjoyed when the queen died. It’s fuck all to do with the government.

That’s just the jocks being jocks. No surprise there.Wrong. Hibs fans held banners dissenting the whole event. Motherwell and Kilmarnock fans joined in "shove your coronation up your arse". Not just dipperland at all, I'm dismayed that so many people in other places didn't feel brave enough to voice dissent about it when they had the chance. People doing what they're told in fear of being piled on for not obeying their masters.
