Liverpool Thread - 2022/23

I know I don't really count as being a "plastic" from across the Mersey.....but I watched with great pleasure last night.
A wonderful display that totally schooled RM. It should have been more but for Courtois and what looked like a tiring KDB after being all over the place for most of the match.
What we did against RM for about 15minutes before we got turned over, you lot did for the entire 90mins and they simply couldn't match you.
Have to say a well done and good luck in the final. You and Pep deserve to win it and OK its my own little personal pettyness but having someone else able to say they have done the treble and removing it from Traffords singular claim will give me pleasure.

Thanks for your observations and good wishes.
We don't like their position as sole treble winners either.
The F.A. Cup final could be a banana skin. The rags will have some tricks up their sleeve for sure.
There may be some questionable decisions from the officials too...

'Questionable' decisions???

I'm leaning towards 'well bent'...

Meanwhile on rawk they wish they "could stab Micah Richards"... I don't know any other fanbases that do that, allow that, proud of that.

Most of my in-laws are dippers (from the Wirral)… They’re great but start talking about football they turn into utter c****

Yep. After the match yesterday, one of my united supporting friends back home texted me and told me that she had never seen such incredible football and that united are the only team that can stop the treble.
Also had a text from a gooner fan over here who just said: "What a display".

They are not sole treble winners. We completed what Baconface called the impossible domestic treble. Throw in the Shield for a quadruple.
