Flew to Dublin yesterday morning for a gig. The plane was full of United and Liverpool supporters. Every fucker who has mentioned football here has either said they support Liverpool or United, too.

They don't really rely on their midfield though. Their plan is diagonal balls to the full backs who whip it into the forwards. Also Salah and Luiz cutting in. It's primitive but effective. I agree on Mane though his goals and workrate carried them a lot. It remains to be seen if Nunez can do the same.

They need their midfield to put pressure on the opponent and win the ball, before they hoof it forwards, so what you say is only partially true.
