Who the fuck are the Echo to pontificate about what that song is about? Once again, an LFC flag-waver is attempting to seize the narrative and deploy Hillsborough as a shield for other perceived cultural and/or behavioural shortcomings within their fan base.

And what the fuck can the football authorities do about a song that conveys an opinion about others having a culture of not taking responsibility for their actions? How can that possibly be enforced? It’s not contrary to any law to express such a view, and nor should it be. Nor should it ever be against the law to cause offence, per se. When did being offended become the worst thing in the world?

In my opinion Hillsborough was not their fault, but that doesn’t give them carte blanche to deflect blame in relation to everything else, which they have serious and enduring form for.

The irony of an article replete with victimhood, where offence has been engineered based on a subjective view, complaining about a song that alleges inveterate victimhood, is both comical and absurd.

They pride themselves on telling the world that Anfield is the most hostile place on Champions League nights and that they will frighten the opposition with their bus ‘welcomes’, yet whenever Italians come to town and kick fuck out of them as a badge of honour for all Italians because of Heysel or because of their bluster about being the most intimidating, they all start crying about it. Again, it’s not their fault, they didn’t entice Italian hooligans to go to Anfield and have a go (Roma) or run round the Anfield area of Liverpool until the early hours of the morning running riot (Napoli)… it’s them being the victims again. Once he was having a argument on Twitter with a boxer called Tommy Coyle from Hull, And recently there has been an article in The Sun about some theft or something regarding a guy who was running a gym with Coyle in Hull. Something along those lines, so Ohara said he was going to be sponsored by The Sun if they fight. Just on a wind up.

Somehow, All the Scousers and famous Scousers jumped on his comment and somehow made out he was talking about Hillsborough, Despite the Twitter argument not involving anybody from Liverpool or even relating to it. They organised a hate campaign that was lapped up and carried on by the media towards Raheem Sterling all because he dared to leave them. They were a major player in Project Big Picture that nobody wanted and was an insult to English football culture and history, and they were a major player in the European Super League that nobody wanted and was an insult to European football culture and history. They are complicit in the organised hate campaign against Manchester City and Sheikh Mansour/Abu Dhabi/Emiratis, their manager is always coming out with lies about the way we are run and it’s always tinged with an anti-Emirati attitude… yet they don’t see anything wrong with it. They don’t see anything wrong with anything their club ever does.

They have a shirt sponsor that was fined billions for money laundering for terrorist organisations yet moan about Abu Dhabi’s human rights abuses all the time.

They always always always play the victims, always! They never admit it’s their fault, they always say it’s someone else’s fault. And they always bring up Hillsborough as their default back-up excuse claiming ‘the other boys said nasty things about Hillsborough’ (when most of the time no fucker even has!) to deflect away from their fans’ misdemeanours.

‘ALWAYS THE VICTIMS, IT’S NEVER YOUR FAULT’ has fuck all to do with Hillsborough but everything to do with the above and probably dozens of other instances that other sets of fans could bring up.

On the Rangers forum the other day a Scouser was on defending the ‘ Lizzie’s in a box ‘ chant claiming no offence is intended and it’s just lads letting off steam and having a laugh.’
But I doubt they would be joining in with the hilarity if City, United or Chelsea went to Anfield next time singing about 97 Scousers in a box.
One rule for them and a completely different rule for all the rest.
