From the Day Mail comments section under the article about Liverpool fans disrespecting the minutes silence.

A Liverpool fan. It's never their fault.

Just don't give up do they? A gut.ter press which was shamed when the Hil.lsborough Inquiry vidicated Liverpool fans. Just as the He ysel Stadium inquiry ALSO showed that Juventus fans were also largely responsible for the horror there. After a full day of goading and taunting Liverpool fans in the streets. Then attempted some sort of a charge against the Liverpool fans IN the stadium. And when Liverpool fans returned the "compliment" - promptly turned tail and fled. Causing the chaos and horror in the process. But STILL the likes of the DiM persists with this deni.gration of a football club. It was IMPOSSIBLE to judge who booed at the game tonight....but when has THAT ever stopped the likes of the DiM from commenting and stirring some idi.ot controversy.
Dear me

I always think I can't hate them any more than I do, but everyday I hate them more.
To me, they were in a no win situation yesterday, the ones that boo'd and jeered are disrespectful motherfuckers, and the ones that stayed silent are hypocritical cunts, each deserving of more hatred that I thought wasn't possible.
I can't wait for tomorrow, so that I can hate them even more

Those that didn’t want to observe ‘the period of silence’ should have just stayed on the concourse until it was over - they deliberately chose to jeer it , knowing it was being televised.

It was the same at our place. The stadium announcer messed up 30 seconds of the silence!

Happens every time whenever there’s a minutes silence at ours; no co-ordination with the timings.

It should be easy to work out - just time the announcement back from the scheduled K.O. time so he’s finished speaking before it’s due to start.

Also, do the announcement through the tannoys on the concourse to remind people/make them aware; quite a few times in recent years noisy fans coming into the stands from the concourse have disrupted the observance for Remembrance Day but it’s been accidental rather than deliberate.

It’s not even needing to time it backwards from the KO time - the ref just needs to await the end of the announcement! Or if the crowd noise/stadium acoustics is too much to hear the announcement, I’m sure a message could be relayed via the refs earpiece … ‘now!’

A few seconds here/there shouldn’t matter

Don't think that's a red really. Only Mane has ever got sent for that.

After hiding in the "Off Topic" forum since the Napoli game I thought I would venture back

And I have to say that I actually think that City are showing their disresepct to the whole league. I mean playing Haaland is simply not fair....and I say that being one of the most knowledgable football fans for whom "It means more".

But...All joking and bullshit aside..
sort of mixture of Shearer and Van Basten. Unplayable.
I think that is spot on. However, if Haaland goes on as he is I think the comparison may well change to Shearer or MVB were only half as good as Haaland.
I think i may also revise my guesstimate of how many he will score this season...I would perhaps go for 50+ and Dixie Dean's record could be in sight.

In the FA Cup qualifying round today there was a team called Binfield !!!
Wonder if it’s short for Bin Dippers of Anfield ?
