The booing if the National Anthem isn't just about the Royal Family. All the ex service men and women, all the ones who are serving now ,99.999% sing it with honour, they have an allegiance,a bond, they are proud to serve the head of state. That shit stain fan base wants fycking wiping out .
Try dissing the American flag, they would rip their heads off for the disrespect to the flag and armed forces.

Was thinking how shit City must be to actually lose to Liverpool!

....but as was said, whenever you lot come to town we play as if its a cup final. The contrast with yesterday and dare I say it the complacency that the team went into the Forest game with, well shows up that far too many of them believed the hype and needed a kick up the backside.

And... @grim up north warning , don't look in the invasion thread, there are people making jokes about nuclear war. I'm just trying to be helpful to save your blood pressure

I stopped going Derby games for many reasons - that being one of them. I lost 4 mates at Hillsborough and like a lot of blues we supported them then as we will now. But they have used Hillsborough as a get out clause on so many occasions that I find it insulting to all the families. People who have themselves said they wanted to respect it in a more low key fashion. Hillsborough wasn't just about them, lots of blues were affected by it and respect needs to be a two way thing.
Jeez, I had no idea you'd lost friends. I'm so sorry.

Another thing they seem to forget is that one of the founding members of the HJC is an Evertonian. Ste Kelly. Like I said, all the Everton fans I know, me included, support the campaign and always have, and the club has been respectful - I'll always love Martinez for that speech - but not gonna lie, the way some Liverpool fans behave towards us, I wonder what the point is. Still, you've got to see the bigger picture. If the draw had been different, 97 Everton fans would have died. And when a small minority of fuckwit Everton fans do make Hillsborough jokes on social media, they'll get a bollocking from other Everton fans.

The derby scares the shit out of me. I'm not sure which fixture is worse, ours or Anfield but there's a reason why we sell very few away tickets for Anfield. Not that our fans are angels, but their fans fucking scare me. Especially with the way they treated Pickford.

It’s unbelievable, it really is.
Wiki:

Did Liverpool fans blame Chelsea for Heysel?

When Heysel happened, Liverpool FC tried to displace the blame from their fans. Their chairman, John Smith, claimed there were lots of southern accents heard in the strands and pointed the finger at Chelsea fans and they blamed the location of the final.

We was at Villa Park the same day and though we won it was hard to concentrate and celebrate even. I don't know Ste Kelly personally but his story about his brother Michael is heartbreaking. People forget as well that the families themselves did not always get on re direction of the campaign hence the different support groups.
Personally I always had a lot more time for John Glover and Anne Williams than the other group though am not belittling any of the families in any way.

I think at times taking the high ground is better and I'd be happy for always the victims to never to be sung. I've seen some Liverpool fans argue that the song saying "always" includes Hillsborough because always implies every time.

Ironically the more they complain the more likely it is to be sung. It's a provocative song so when it provokes it just encourages people to carry on singing it. Liverpool are also a provocative fan base though so we are now stuck in a race to the bottom. I'd rather we be bigger than that though.
