Maybe the dickhead realised they would have only got in with forged tickets sold to them by the cult.
And instructed by that dickhead to turn up even without tickets.
Another example of Bingo and his cult refusing to take responsibility for yet another night of trouble in Europe from the dipper fans.

Strange article in th mail first thing ,klopp saying about the Paris shit show and how people were getting to their seats to find them already occupied, but they weren't Liverpool fans sat in them ,which raises the question if they were I assume french is what he means do you not think the Liverpool fans may have noticed 2700 french in their end ? I'm pretty sure I've not read one article saying this ,im sure they would of made a big deal how they were in and 2700 genuine fans were locked out ?
The article has since disappeared
Might explain the booing of the National Anthem?

Got caught up in a really strange discussion on Youtube about who is the best winger of all time....
and two of the options happen to be Salah and Best...

As it happens I really rate Salah and I think you might have a case for him being better, but the thing that blew me away was one Liverpool supporter justified it by looking on Transfermarket and quoting that Best only managed 3 assists in his career.... So Salah must be better(while it does say that)!!! It just boggles my mind that anyone would think that pretty much any player that played 600 games would have just 3 assists, let alone a winger!!!

If this is the case. Is Klopp not underachieving? That's the best winger of all time, along with the best Goalkeeper in the Premier League, the best back four, the best front three etc.

At some point they're going to have to stop with the exceptional attitude or admit their manager is underachieving

While I take your overall point I would disagree that Klopp or Liverpool are underachieving. Because football isn't played in a vacuum, thus suggestions of Liverpool underachieving is in turn a knock on City. You can make a strong case that this City side of the last 10 years(which is really three teams), are among, if not the best teams the top flight in England has ever seen, especially if you focus on domestic

Robert Charlton claimed Best never gave him a pass in all the years that played together. Best was a very selfish player. Mr. Charlton did not approve.

@mrtwiceaseason the article is also in the Telegraph. I hadn't been arsed reading it until I read your post....
'There was not one Liverpool supporter in the wrong spot' is the stand out quote. He states there were loads of people sitting in seats that weren't theirs but they were not Liverpool supporters.
He knew 50 people that were in the stadium and 47 all told him that story !!!!!

Anyone catch Saunders and Durham on Talkshite yesterday afternoon?

Heard a little and basically Durham was laying into the Dippers for letting Mane go cheap and throwing all that money at Salah at his age.

Saunders, fuckinell ha ha ha.

"Every player wants to play for Liverpool, the biggest Club in the world"
"Players want to play in front of Liverpool fans"
"Mane has taken a step down moving to Munich"
"More chance of winning CL with Liverpool"
"A German League win means nothing compared to PL" ( think he must've forgot Mane is from Senegal)

It went on and on, Durham tbf disagreed with pretty much all he said.

Saunders is a moron, but he's probably right on the penultimate point (more chance of winning the CL with Liverpool than Bayern) imo. Maybe the last one, too.

Well, it's the golden rule with our media: never, under any circumstances, say anything negative about the dippers or the rags.

Mane was pissed off at getting paid peanuts to watch City win the league every year.
Can't blame him really

They aren’t called The Cult for nothing. Everyone connected to them in any way is utterly deluded.

Liverpool aren’t the biggest club in the world by any measure.
If you were going off players wanting to play in front of sets of fans, Argentina and Brazil would have the best leagues in the world, and Greece and Turkey would have the best leagues in Europe. Liverpool fans are League 1 standard compared to those countries.
Mane hasn’t taken a step down moving to Munich, it’s a better city than Liverpool and they’re a comparable if not bigger club than Liverpool.
He’s already won and not won the CL with Liverpool so why not take a new challenge with Bayern?
A German league win doesn’t mean nothing, it’s a good league, not as good as the Prem but it doesn’t mean nothing.

Damascus,Beirut and Tripoli are better cities than Liverpool.

Give it a few hours, "hundreds" will have been replaced with "thousands" on the website.
Give it a few days, "thousands" will have been replaced with "10's of thousands" in the tour match reporting.
Give it a month, "10's of thousands", will have been replaced with "100's of thousands" in the pre-season round-up media pieces.
Give it 9 months, "100's of thousands", will have been replaced with "million" in the social media bellend land.

And why is this the headline news for Football on the BBC, 100's of people turn up...woohoo!?!
Must be coincidence that a 4 player presentation to the fans will be happening later in Manchester...

To be fair the amount of 'fans' liverpool (and United) have out there is ridiculous. I've lost count of the amount of times I've got into a BKK taxi and got straight back out when I've seen any liverpool or united merchandise/stickers.

Must have a lot to do with red=luck in Asia, but the good (?) thing is, City's support out there is growing, a lot.

That's not the point of the post though.

This is the BBC website UK edition reporting on a few 100 people turning up at an airport... and it's the headline football news.
There's far bigger football stories today: Women's euros, Brentford/Forest/Southampton/Chelsea signing players, FDJ giving 10 reasons why he doesn't want to join United...

With regards to the mass of Thai fans of United/Liverpool in their country, great, maybe it's big news in Thailand, it's really not in the UK.
The match itself, yep, interesting (ish) for UK, to see who plays, who doesn't etc.

Nothing changes. Someone in Bootle only has to fart and it makes top billing at the BBC. They describe 'chaotic' scenes at Bangkok airport. Seems very similar to the 'chaotic' scenes in Paris a few weeks back when LIVERPOOL LOST!

Then put it in the media thread ;o)

It's ok, I've worked out the reason why it's headline news on the football site.

Simon Stone's daily piece attempting to justify his expenses jolly to Thailand/Australia, has to be front and centre else the accountants will start asking for justification of why he's gone, rather than using a local rep.
