Ahh but they were local lads. These were the same lads that were robbing and assaulting fans before the match before deciding to stay on and cheer the dippers on in the stadium.
Sort of like robbing a house at night and staying back to make yourself a toasted sandwich and a cup of tea before you leave

Oh come on, there were only 2700 fakes, not worth mentioning in any kind of article at all. A Ritz's and a half worth of freeloaders, nothing more. That's, like, less than 20% of the whole Liverpool allocation. One in five at most was a bad egg, a minority if you will, who just didn't know that Dave down the pub was any less bona fide in his UEFA connections than the official process, and hey after all Dave's 50% cheaper la!. Every club has a dodgy side to their support after all, I'd like to see any other English club, nay any nationality, get to a European cup final and not have the same issues with fakes. Oh, wait...

Now, if we were to ask where did those fake tickets come from, why was the design so close and how is it some evidently were close enough tht they granted entry, denying genuine Liverpool fans their space and risking lives... now that would be an interesting report to peruse once you excavated the layers of Toxteth topsoil from it.

The real shame is that the whole club closes ranks, from fans to ex players, and labels everyone else as wrong, when they should be the ones most interested in who was trying to mug them off. It feels very much like as long as the finger points elsewhere, well then that's good enough for Liverpool FC.

From what I've heard the reporting on the report is the whitewash.
The report does not exonerate the Liverpool fans as reported on the BBC. It says they weren't solely to blame.
It also says there were over 2,400 forged tickets. That seems like a lot but that will only be the ones that were used on the scanners. They don't know how many more people had forged tickets that weren't used because they'd closed the turnstiles. They also don't know how many ticketless fans were in the crush outside trying to jib in.
 
That is some bucket of whitewash ! Not even one of their previous sponsors could have covered such a big subject in one coat ! I wonder who is driving around in a new car, and has a summer house in America ?
 
Seems Liverpool FC have certainly left their fans standing alone..Where are comments from this vile club concerning their 'dismay' for the fans with real legitimate tickets who didnt get in due to the fakers and jibbers?
They seem more concerned with the actions of the police rather than the actions of so called liverpool fans who
caused this by arriving in great numbers with fake or no tickets.

The true supporters with proper tickets have been well and truly left standing alone.

Liverpool FC the peoples club.. yeah right !!

I stand to be corrected but. As I understand, the most damming report on the handling of the event was drawn up by the opposition political party, this is the report that is regularly quoted without any balance or explanation that such a report will find any small fault with the ruling party and magnify that fault in an effort to score political points. This report is hardly a balanced, fair reflection of events. As I say I stand to be corrected

Chief Exec of the Dippers wants an apology from the French Government as he believes the club has suffered 'reputational damage'! What fuckin' reputation have they got that could possibly be damaged. Their fans rampaged in Brussels, their fans wrecked a coach carrying an opponents players and officials, and their club hacked into a rival scouting database. Perhaps he believes the murderous horde that charged the Juve fans were from West London, the bus wrecking was perpetrated by the club who for some sinful past has to share a city with them, and he might believe our system was hacked by the Russian military. It is breathtaking what those fuckers can come out with. Tell me, Mr Hogan, how can something be damaged that doesn't exist?
