Would any of this be happening if they had actually won the Final, hence a treble instead of a scrappy domestic double won on penalties?
Would it bollocks,
they'd have been wanking off the top of the Eiffel Tower, pushing elderly locals into the fountains of Paris and attempting to murder Bulgarian waiters all over Europe.

Totally agree and that lot in particular should know better.

In the days of standing it was always felt there was 'room for a few more' and fans would help others who were ticketless get in. The scousers in particular would show 'solidarity' to each other and help each other in. It wasnt seen as stealing from anyone, nobody lost out.

Then Hillsborough.

And so all-seater stadia. Now anyone getting fake tickets, sneaking in, etc is 100% making the event worse for a fellow fan. It's scummy.

Regardless of the number who had fake tickets, the rumours of them were enough that could have affected the policing of the final. Similar to Heysel, the organisation and setup was bad, but only mattered because of events that were set in motion by Liverpool fans.
Would this have happened if they had agreed to mobile tickets? Who at the dippers requested paper tickets and who at the top sanctioned it, and why didn't UEFA say tough if you want tickets this is how it's going to be, would they have said the same to us if we had got there?

Rags and Dippers have played 2 "Legends" charity matches this season.

Are they that desperate to keep their fans on board with misty eyed nostalgia or are these games being used for something more nefarious?

I've had numerous comments removed, even true ones. Hacking City's player data base, Standard Chatered money laundering, attacking the City coach, Heysel, etc.

The Scousers flag up the comment, the Daily Mail look at it, and agree with the Scousers, delete the comment, and send a automated email telling you your comment has bern removed.

Mine never appear, it’s like I’ve been flagged & stopped in advance. I’ve had more luck with replies to comments.

Aside from the mass ticket fraud going on leading up to this game, genuine LFC ticket holding fans were treated appallingly leading up to kick off.
I am glad it wasn’t us having to go through that ordeal on the day.

The venue was clearly wrong for a 50/50 split of tickets.
Hate them or not, herding fans into that tunnel was disgusting. Teargassing kids was disgusting.Leaving them stand outside in a queue for 3 hours was disgusting.

I am trying to look at this objectively. The ticket fraud was a big part of the problem, and they only have themselves to blame for that as a fanbase, but the genuine ticket holder has been shafted by Uefa, the FFF and the police.
No trouble at the Madrid end of the ground. They were all in well before the scheduled kick off time

The elephant in the room that everyone ignores is it was dippers with fake tickets taking the seats from dippers who bought legally.

That caused the hold up.

Why arent the genuine dippers letting everyone know that fellow dippers with fake tickets cost them their seats ?

We have all seen the pictures on social media of bundles of fake dipper tickets. We have seen the dippers on social media climbing over the fences.
We have seen on social media dippers bragging about jibbing in.
We have all seen on social media the dippers by the fence waving their fake tickets thinking they are real.

If this was City I would be fucking furious if another City fan with a fake ticket had taken my seat. Yet dippers seem happy to blame everyone else except their own fans. The fans that caused the problems.
Cult/never their fault.

By any objective analysis, the French authorities were a shambles and a disgrace in the way they handled many of the Liverpool supporters outside the ground. It would be dishonest to suggest otherwise; however, the notion that snide tickets and prevailing cultural mores amongst Liverpool supporters didn’t play a significant role in the chaos is also dishonest, as is ignoring it as a factor, as most of the media have manifestly done, because, as ever, they are terrified of the consequences if they don’t.

By consequences , do you mean the en masse avoidance of purchasing/clicking on whatever media outlet dares to go against the grain and report negatively against liverpool by their cult following, i mean supporters?

Same, I think I’m blacklisted. There’s a dick on there all over City threads claims to be an ex cockney red and claims now to be Millwall and claims to be an ex para. He’s obviously some fucker on a wind up but he’s allowed to post whatever he wants and however often he wants usually whilst most replies being refused . It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s glory hunting bandwagon jumping journos taking turns posting as him.

@Colin Bells Holdall Re your last paragraph; yes they all shafted the genuine fan but you have missed out one important name. LFC. They have never called out their fans behaviour, Klopp encouraged ticketless fans to travel saying Paris was big enough. They have caused mayhem in every European final they have been in, jibbing in or robbing their own of tickets. If that kept happening at City I would be demanding they call out the blaggers.
When it goes OK, jibbing in is seen as scouse humour, when it goes wrong it is never, ever their fault.
Fuck 'em and all who sail in her.

I struggle to criticise the police when I consider the options & how I’d have reacted. Let’s be honest you have tear gas, a baton & scousers around you.

Being serious. For the safety of all you need people to fuck off because there are too many people & they won’t. What do you do?

Do nothing
Ask them to leave nicely
Let them in
Force them away

I’m sure an honest investigation would find faults / blame in a number of areas. It takes great maturity to compromise responsibility.

It's never their fault though, even though they are always involved. Dippers that is

Every team has fans that are dickheads and likes to cause mither.

These cunts take it to the next level and spoil it for everyone else.

They get away with smashing things up and causing mayhem wherever they go without so much a caution or a slap on the wrist.

They are the most vile, feral set of wankers to ever step foot on the planet and yet THEY are suing UEFA for what's gone on.

The British press need to stop living in their parallel universe and get in touch with the real world.
