It’s a really good fit as the Celtics have 1 championship in over 30 years also.
Interesting that they are listing Sheikh Mansour as the owner and so using his personal wealth. I thought we were owned by Abu Dhabi which in itself is a trillion $ country?
Was in Vegas a few weeks ago, ended up watching Spuds v United with a Spuds fan and a Dippers fan.
While watching the game an Asian guy came and sat with us, wearing a Spurs top. The Dipper fan said, ‘Are you Korean’, he said ‘yes’. Then the dipper fan said, ‘Are you a Spurs fan because of Son’, he said ‘yes’.
And then the Dipper fan said, ‘If Son played for Arsenal would you support them’, and with no shame, he said ‘Yes’.
Me, the Spuds fan and the Dipper fan just burst out laughing. The Korean guy didn’t understand what was funny [emoji15]
So we're not state-owned anymore?
So, the media are admitting that the Sheikh owns the club, not AD?
The perfect partner for that lot! Mitt Romney co-founded Bain before he ran as Republican presidential nominee in 2008 which he lost and then again in 2012 which he won and ran against Obama in 2012.
Good luck getting that!!I went up to a scouser colleague and put 5p in his hand. He asked what that was for and I said to buy his club, he laughed.
I bumped into him a couple hours later and asked for my 4p change!!
